100 wings. Beer. Good friends. Wing challenge. Done. Was looking for some wings without the "Hooters." Alondra is quite small with not an extensive selection of beers, but it will do for our wing challenge. Menu Wings - hot, honey bbq, fiesta and salt n' pepper Fried pickles Garlic fries Verdict: Nothing spectacular, but definitely yummers.

Poor service and the food wasn't that great either.

Don't think there was anything too special about this place. It was unique though in that it had fried tomatoes - of which I enjoyed, yet I eat and love tomatoes like there's no tomorrow. The spicy, lime flavored wings are worth a shot. So this in downtown Long Beach, so beware of the parking situation!

Shucks, forgot about the 10% Yelp check-in discount! 6 piece wings with fries ($8.95): The honey bbq wings were great! Love the smoky flavor with the crispy wings. The fries gave me mixed emotions. Some were crispy, others were soggy. Some were average sized pieces, some were the tiny bottom pieces at the end. Some were well seasoned, some weren't ... Minus 1 star. Service was mediocre. She checked up one us once while we were there for about an hour. She didn't seem like she really wanted to be at work. Talked to one of her friends a little that came to visit her I guess. Minus 1 star. Tiny Alondra's! Not what i'm used to since I usually go to the one in Alhambra which is about 3x the size and ALWAYS crowded with a 20+ minute wait. Good thing is.. great sports place. TV's located around all sides of the room for sports fans!

The cheese balls... The wings... The company. This is a perfect combination for a Friday night! The cheese balls are so flavorful and delicious! The lemon pepper has the right amount of spices and perfect since I don't like spicy wings. Get ready to give your taste buds a good time.

I've been here a couple times and I do like it I'm just over there wings. They are pretty good but nothing to die for I used to like them a lot but now I've change sides to wing stop because I'm obsessed with boneless and the smoked BBQ flavor plus the Ranch is amazing. This is more of my personal preference. Nothing against this place still good. They have several other items on there menu. So I decided to go with a pizza and wow! Not an average pizza this stuff was really delicious I had about four slices and wanted more. You can see from my picture how appetizing it looks the server was great and polite. Place is clean and has Tv's to watch sports that's pretty awesome.

10% Yelp Check In Discount! I went here for the sole purpose of trying out the Atomic wings. The restaurant requires a signed waiver, so I was excited. How many times have I bought into the spicy hype only to be disappointed? The Atomic hot wings did not disappoint. I have an iron lined stomach. I take pleasure in eating something that causes me to get teary eyed. Even for some one like me, they were 7 out of 10 level spicy. They were delicious albeit dry.

First time eating here for dinner. I am a big wino so the first thing I grabbed was the drink menu. There weren't too many selections for deep red wine. That was a bummer LMFAO. Ordered the Brooklyn Burger. Huge! Stuffed after eating half. It was good. The seasoned fries were a little too soggy for me and I'm not usyally picky about fries. The cool thing was the 10% discount for checking in here on Yelp for the first time. I'll try this place again but next time try their pizza or wings. Definitely not ordering fries again.

I'm very disappointed with alondra's hot wings. The price far exceeds the quality... A 12" specialty pizza costs 12.99... The crust is thin, and the toppings are stingy. The wings are tiny, and the texture seems as if they're stale. It's not with it.. Go to pizza x 2

Good food, and their hot wings are really tasty. I had the atomic wings, which I had to sign a waiver for.... Very hot. Not the hottest thing I've ever eaten, but really good and tasty with a nice burn. The lemon wings were good and the ambiance were nice. The servers were very nice, but actual service of getting food was very slow from the kitchen, and I pretty much had to flag a server down to get service. But the food made up for that and the staff were nice. Good place, I'll be back.

Came in during lunch break right after 11:30, we were greeted and seated right away which is always nice. We ordered quickly and let me tell you, the Boston Pastrami IS RIDIC!!! OMG!! Where has this been my whole life! MMMM... I've found my new favorite sandwich! The pastrami was crispy and juicy and the pickles and mustard and HINTS of lettuce were all just perfect!! I had to stop myself from gobbling the whole thing down, I wanted to save some for later. Yum Yum! I cant wait to come back.

Im giving three stars because our server was friendly, food was right temp...manager took the salad I ordered off the bill without a hassle. Southwest Chicken Salad was tasteless. I dont know what they used to flavor the chicken but it didn't taste good to me. I was offered a replacement meal. I refused because my friend was nearly finished. They were very nice.

This establishment is among the best when it comes to pizza and wings. My family loves to visit Pine Ave because they know that there is a distinct possibility that we may eat at Alondra Hot Wings. My wife and daughter are wings aficionados and always come away happy with their order. My son loves the pizza as I do as well. Their selection of pies are choice for pizza lovers. Excellent salads for those of us who prefer to eat lighter and great pasta for those who want a hearty meal. Clean affordable and great service, especially from Sam our server who was a delight. Will visit more often in the future and I do recommend this eatery highly. Use your yelp check in to score discounts on your bill.

Ownership needs to get a clue here. 1. Overpriced for very small wings. Basically $1 per wing. And these things are small a seriously small. 2. They do not offer paper plates for take out orders. Seriously. You sell pizza and wings to go and you don't even stock paper plates? Just have some available for purchase if you have to be that cheap. 3. One Tiny cup of ranch for a 25 piece order of wings. If you want more they charge ya of course. I think they only get the good reviews because they are the only wing spot in the area.....I am sure there other location benefits from the same situation. The guy you helped me at the take out counter was nice though. I could tell he was just doing as he was told. So in summary this place offers low quality food at high prices and still nickel and dimes it's patrons after charging them a premium for tiny wings.

The food was great but the service was horrible! It took 15 minutes for my party to receive water, and 45 minutes for the food! There was no sense of urgency given by the staff, nor an apology for the delay.

The crispier wings ever...cuz I hate saggy wings. The perfect level of spiciness. Great staff. I just kinda would pick another type of music

I had my son placed a large order of wings for the super bowl and when he pick up the order he was told the ranch dressing was in the bag. Well, when my son arrived at home there was no ranch in the bag. Unfortunately it was too late and too far to go back... I called them an all they can do was apologized. Luckily my guest weren't too picky and ate the wings without the ranch. This was the first time buying anything from this place and probably the last. Even though the wings weren't bad I'll rather deal with a more responsible restaurant that pays attention to detail.

Love this place... and this is a great location! I love the atomic wings, since I love anything super spicy. These definitely have a nice kick. Their fries are also really good. Highly recommended for any wing lovers :)

I'm having delivery from Alondra Hot Wings as I write this. I ordered the regular cheese burger, fries, and I spit some cheese balls with a co-worker. The bun is nice, but just your basic burger. Really needs another patty, or a downsized bun. Fries are yummy, a little salty, but good. Not sure what to think about the cheese balls. Possibly needs some marinara sauce on the side. Won't be ordering those again. $9 for the basic cheese burger and fries. Pricey for a basic burger for delivery. Maybe if I was enjoying their atmosphere, I'd feel differently. Prompt deliver, everything cooked nicely. Overall, not bad, I'd try them again.

The wings were good but the service was just not great. The server took our drink orders and never returned. We had to get up and ask to be helped. The server returned saying that there was no ice. He barely returned for any drink refills. This isn't the kind of restaurant where I expect amazing service but I do expect to be served properly.

My coworkers came here for lunch one day on a day that I wasn't at work. I felt really bummed like I was missing out on something. And you know what? I WAS! I love chicken wings and I thought that this place called "Alondra Hot Wings" was just that... chicken wangs! I really really really wanted to try it! I insisted they all go with me one day and then that day came and we finally did. I was very impressed with the menu... especially after I realized that there was soooooooo much more than chicken wangs! I didn't know what to get. Dilemma! I wanted the entire menu! We started off with the cheese balls and they were soooooo good! Its like a round, cheese stuffed, piece of bread. I know that it sounds so simple but its so damn good! Then, I had my burger... delicious and I was very very satisfied. That's what I say, "it hit the spot!". I was so full already, but I couldn't resist the cheesecake balls. OMG... a little piece of heaven wrapped up in a little ball. AMAZING! Being the good wife that I am, I ordered 25 wings to go for my Husband for dinner. I knew it wasn't going to taste the same as eating it fresh, but I couldn't resist. Brought it home and he really liked it! Can you imagine how impressed he would have been if he ate it there? Not a fan of the honey BBQ because it was like any other Honey BBQ and the Thai Sweet Chili was good, but I had a bottle of that sauce already at home! Mix them all together with Atomic and its pretty yummy. HAHA! NOTE: Get the atomic sauce on the side (if that's what you want) because that thing is crazy hot! I don't think that the Man VS Food guy could have handled it! I loved the place so much that we went back (Hubby and I) only a few days later. We got strictly wings... suicide! I felt like I died... and went to heaven. It was sooooooo good! I honestly think about this place every day... and dream about it every night. YUMMY.

Best Wings in Town" That's what it says on the website, and it sure not false advertising because it sure got my vote. All this time partying out in Long Beach I finally hit up Alondra Hot Wings. The place has a variety of foods like deli sandwiches, salads, pizza and pasta. However, the main reason to come here is for the wings. It's like eating at a Brazilian steakhouse and having nothing but a salad bar if you order something else. For a big kahuna like myself I ordered 25 wings and had a little of other nibble of other wings from my coworkers who were with me. The wings are pretty good and the service is awesome. Just wish this place was open a little later for people who drink at the pubs down the street. Likes 1) Lime Chile wings (highly recommended) 2) Lemmon Pepper wings 3) Mild wings. 4) Service 5) Atmosphere Dislikes 1) They should have this place open till 3am Friday and Saturday.

"Wings so hot, it's got Missy saying 'Daaaaamn that's hot'" Came here with a friend because we heard that they had hot wings so hot, you'd have to sign a waiver before eating them. The wavier was true and DAMN those were some hot hot wings.. My friend and I couldn't stop tearing up and I had to chase a whole cup of water and I was still hurting! The waitress probably sees it all the time because she was very calm when I was hurting and she brought out some limes for us to counter the pain. My taste buds were blasted after that and I couldn't eat the other wings. I had a total of 1 atomic. It was over. But damn! I love it here. I would definitely would go again!

I got out of class late today and this guy that's crushin' on me got me a 12 piece order of hot wings - Original (mild), Lemon Pepper, and Thai Chili. Let's just say I devoured it within 10 minutes, finished all except one. So I guess that meant I liked it. The flavors were bold and the taste of each flavor actually matched up with the name, go figure. Original was definitely OG, Lemon Pepper was really citrus-ed and peppered up since I can taste the lemon-yness and see the pepper spots on it, and as for Thai Chili, I really saw chili seeds on them. So cool! So I guess I can only rate on the taste of the wings, and they taste just like Wingstop. Not orgasmically great, just good.

OMG... the Don pizza is MUST if you LOVE garlic, it's full of real thick garlic bites but before that I order the Ranch Blasted Fries, well HELLO taste buds... I was in PIG heaven even before the pizza arrived!!! lol As for the service... ALL GOOD FELLAS (get it good fellas)... hahaha My friends & I walked in while the Long Beach Funk Fest was going on, grabbed a booth & I totally began to admire the MOB theme (fan of true crime). I never seen a place like this before; SOB I fell in love!!! BTW... Sorry to have read what happend to Tiffany L. But I have to admit one of the owners did noticed us as we seated ourselves, welcomed us in & immediately we were served drinks & trust me the place was busy so the fast, correct, beyond friendly service from the waitresses were much appreciated!

Love the food. This place is known for the wings which is the one thing I haven't tried. They have some unique wing sauces that include, BBQ, maple syrup, several levels of heat including one you have to sign a waiver for. I have eaten all of their appetizers, a few sandwiches and their pizza. They have an excellent dough that they use for their pizza and several other dishes like bread bowls, appetizers, etc. That's a big reason why most of their food is tasty. The cheese balls appetizer is great. They're gooey and flavorful. I really wanted to try the fried Twinkie dessert but Twinkie is currently being bought out so they are not available to the restaurant. I also love the MOB theme. Lots of pictures and a little history and news paper articles around the restaurant. I don't really care for the hours here. And make sure you go WAY before they close. I got there at 8:30pm and they only let me order food to-go because they closed at 9pm?? Most places don't do that.

The Atomic sauce had me sweating like lindsay lohan in a intervention room I took one small taste of it because my friend wouldn't stop begging me to try it since he wanted someone else to cry with him and man you could just feel the hotness go through you before it even reaches your mouth. I started taking those deep breathes in, you could imagine my face right now and I kept taking sips of water every 3 seconds so my mouth would stop burning. It definitely met my expectations and I could see why someone would have to sign a form just to try it but I think I'll stick to my favorite which is the lemon pepper with ranch next time They have a big selection of wings to choose from if you're not into the really spicy stuff. Make sure to go during happy hour too, they have bottled beers for 2.75 and a nice selection of beers on tap for 3.75. The 2 big TV's they have are great for gameday and you get a really nice view from anywhere in the restaurant

i can't seem to have a good experience here. My friend got ahold of the Restaurant.com deal, so we were pretty excited to eat here. I've been to the Alhambra location several times, & no complaints there. Can't say the same for this location. They are set to close at 9pm Monday-Wednesday, but stop seating at 8:30. Both times we tried to go was on a Monday night. To be fair, I'm sure Monday's are usually slow. But this was the only night out of the week that we could go due to our schedules. First time we got there literally right before 8:30 (like 3 minutes before) but they weren't seating anymore. The coupon is only supposed to be good for dine-in, so we left and ate somewhere else. Tried again the next week, this time coming in just a little bit after 8. However, the waitress told us they were closing early & stopped seating already because it was a slow night. Convinced them to let us use the coupon for a take-out order. However, once we began eating, I realized they only gave us Spicy Honey BBQ in our order of 25pcs, even though we also ordered Lime Chile. Everything didn't taste as good as I had hoped, because the food was no longer fresh after sitting in take-out boxes through a 15min car ride.

The sequel is not always as good as the original, but it really doesn't apply when it comes to reviews. I pretty much copied my review of Buffalo Wild Wings for my review of Alondra Hot Wings ... yelp.com/biz/buffalo-wil… When people ask me what do I look for in a girl? Is it her personality, is it her looks, is it her boobs, is it her ass, is it her attitude, is it chemistry? I'll leave that question unanswered, but when it comes to some sch-icken, the funny answer would be "I'm a breast man." But truth be told, I love me some wangs. In plain english that I like chicken wings. If Alondra Hot Wings were a girl ..... let's just say she would have a cute face, friendly personality, C-cup bra size and -0 waist size. I can't give it 5 stars because it wasn't the total package because the place could have been a little bit bigger and the wings could have had more meat on them just like the girl with the -0 waist size but either way, Alondra Hot Wings is HOT! The chicken wings were good, either that or I was starving. Probably a combination of the two because I was hungry as a hostage. They have different sauces to choose from and the group I sat with ordered the lime chile and hot wings. The service was just OK but very friendly once they got around to taking our order. It took awhile because I came for a huge Hot Wings and Guacamole UYE (good job Matt and Will) They have a bunch of TV's to watch any sporting event going on so I'd say it's a good place to come with friends and watch a game. Are the wings better than Hooter's? Let's just say they're different and different is good (sometimes) ... I'm just saying. I'd go back and try their other flavors of wings, even try their pizzas or burgers or something.

Three words.. DEEP. FRIED. TWINKIE. It was this deliciously simple but SO perfect dessert that had me thinking it's possible I misjudged Alondra Hot Wings. This twinkie is proof positive, they're doing *something* right :)

This place was ok, way too expensive for what you get, if ya ask me.I went there like 4 years ago and hated it, decided to give it another try and it was significantly better than before, but I still would keep it to maybe once a year. -Don't have a good beer selection at all, would be much better if they did. -We ordered suicide wings and honey bbq wings, both tasted good but the honey was under "mild," don't overestimate what that means, mild = no heat whatsoever, so if you hate heat, go with a mild because its completely eliminated. Suicide was pretty hot, I'd be scared to try to any "very hot" ones, I was really suffering at one point (like the pain of the high point of wasabi, except thats a split second and in you sinuses, this is lingering, and o your lips and tongue). -The cheese balls are beyond amazing, I would go back just for those! simple but the texture is awesome. -Swim with the fish pizza flavors were good but a fatal flaw which just completely ruined it were the actual shrimp, SO overcooked (it tasted better cold the next day). -The fried twinkie was really good, ice cream was good too. Overall its so-so, but expensive. Get the cheese balls, you won't regret it. Btw if you're health conscious, this place should be a no go for you... lotta fried things, lotta oil, super high in calories, I'm sure. Waitresses are nice, place is clean, place was packed and they were still quick, so no complaints there. Worth checking out, some people swear by this place.

When I asked the waitress to swap the ranch they gave me by mistake with the blu cheese the I ordered, she looked as though I asked for her first born! But later I realized she was shy, and was probably shocked by my booty, I mean beauty :) Got the cheese balls, they were good, but I felt they were more hype than flavor, give me a regular ole mozzarella stick any day! KUDOS to the wings! Got lemon pepper and spicy honey BBQ, and the BBQ was the champion, even better with the blu cheese, I now have to raise a child for. I'm def coming back here!

Averagest food ever, excluding the pizza. Pizza is modeled after frozen pizza in true Cali style (awful). Seriously, you guys have some bad pizza out here. Boo bad pizza, booo! Get the wings, as they are average and exactly as you'd expect outside of upstate NY.

2.5 Im very picky about wings, like super picky about wings so this place deserves a 2 and a half stars. Now I phoned in the ordered, the girl was very nice over the phone, took direction of my big order very well. I never came here before so I didn't know what to expect. The decor is cute, much bigger than a Wingstop, its made to sit and enjoy your wings there. Wingstop feels like a counter to go. Now to the food im going to call this spot Alondra Dry wings, these wings just weren't juicy enough you know the kind when you bite into it juices run a little down your lip , well thats how you know your eating a good wing. Wing flavors we had Teriyaki: At first bite, that sauce has some kind of kick , that some may not like but after a few seconds its yummy flavoring. Its not your typical sweet teriyaki sauce, a tad bit sour which I liked. Thai Chili: Spicy at first bite, then very sweet, yummy, these wings were juicy and meaty. Seasoned: Means no sauce ,just the fried chicken wing, seasoned. I usually love my wings the best sauceless, but these were dry as hell. The seasoning was ok, no one has wings like my mom , well Gumbo shack does :) Honey BBQ: The sauce was good, again just dry wangs. Other entrees we had Rib eye caesar salad sandwich: The deli bread is fresh and BIG, they claim they use Ribeye meat, but that tasted like chuck meat, I know my rib eye meat damn it . Not enough cesaer dressing, but the sandwich was stuffed perfectly . My mom had the Turkey club , with no mayo, my mom did a disservice to the sammie by saying no mayo LOL I love that shit, like white people do ahahahahahaha. CheeseBalls MMMMMMM so good, Dough filled with cheese rolled in garlic , served with marinera sauce mmmmmm even good with ranch so good. I'd comeback here to try their pizza ,chili soups or salad, but those cheese balls are off the chain !!!

So, this place has really good chili lime wings! I'm definitely a fan of that! We also ordered the honey bbq wings which i have had better. I would go back to eat the chili lime. It reminds me of the cup o noodle flavor. We ordered the deep fried snickers which was eh. Its something you can order at the fair. It was cheaper than the fair. I think it was like 3.99 for a dozen. The service was fair. They had tv's for you to watch sports! Also an outdoor seating area.

I'm not sure why the place is called Alondra Hot Wings, but their honey BBQ wings are really good. Their fish and chips isn't bad but stick with the wings. My husband made a smarter choice and ordered 6 wings, which come with fries. The french fries are seasoned and quite salty but that didn't stop me from eating every single one that was in my entree. Ranch dressing was included with both of our entrees and went well with the fries. The waiter kept coming around asking if everything was okay. I thought that was nice and then realized he was trying to get us out of there. The Hot Wings/Guac contest UYE had a big turnout. I think I could have asked him to validate our parking, it slipped my mind. Good wings courtesy of Alondra, good Guac courtesy of the Guac makers and Will R and Matthew K.

I've been to the location in Montebello numerous times so I figured this place would be the same. I shared an appetizer sampler plate and had a steak sandwich. If this review was for their cheese balls, hands down five stars! Those things are the best thing I've had. The rest of the sampler plate was mediocre to say the least. The steak sandwich was two thumbs down. It's drenched in some kinda sauce/dressing...not what I expected at all. I was so turned off by it that I actually sent it back cuz it was that bad. The onion fries were super greasy. I think the only thing that saved this review from one star was the cheese balls! Lol Our server was ok. She was courteous but not very attentive. I think I'll stick to the Montebello location.

Went here yesterday for lunch with the boyfriend because he heard it had good wings from a buddy of his. So to satisfy his curiosity, and with my economical self, I snagged a coupon from restaurant.com for $25 off $35. Let me just say... we should of invited 2 more people to join us, because we ordered a lot of food to last us till dinner. So much for cooking that night... ha. To start we had fried zucchini and 16 piece wings. We tried the Lemon & Lime? and the Honey BBQ. I personally liked the BBQ one, then again I'm not really a big wings fan. Then he ordered a turkey club and I had this delicious chicken sandwich with avocado (the name of the entree escapes me at the moment). Both came with fries. Then to top it off we got come cheesecake doughballs. I know... healthy right? Why do you think I went to kick boxing the next morning! haha... all in all, we paid $25 including tip. Thank you coupon. =) I don't care what my boyfriend says, I love coupons. :cheesy smile: =D

I ate here a few weeks ago with my BF and the food was awesome! We had the fried cheese balls as an appetizer and they were HEAVENLY!!! Probably the most delicious thing I have eaten all month. Next we ordered the pizza with chicken, basil, and Alfredo sauce (I don't remember the name of it but it was some mafia king pin.) The restaurant is decorated with photos and information of famous New York gangsters and the menu also has a mafia theme. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Long Beach.

Better than Hooters, but not by much. They've got tons of flavors of wings. We did the Lemon and the Spicy BBQ. The Spicy BBQ was not spicy, fyi. If you really like spicy stuff, hit up their other hot flavors. My coworker tried the "Atomic" flavor and had to sign a waiver. AWESOME! He was suffering like crazy. It was so fun. Don't half step. This is a good place to hit if you work on Pine St or are looking for some grub on a weekend night before the bars.

Place was packed so we ordered to go, but they wouldn't except coupon for to go's. We weren't happy. We ordereded the standard hot wings and fried cheese balls. As one reviewer mentioned they are very stingy with the ranch dressing. The wings were some of the best I have eaten and the cheese balls were ok. Will go back for more wings and bring my own ranch.

Wings were great! However, the service was some of the worste I've ever experienced. It was a busy saturday night and I siggest you come on any other day of the wek because they could not handle the crowd. We were seated suprisingly quickly but it took our waitress close to 25 MINUTES! to bring us some water! We ordered some wings which were perfect but I wish I stopped there because the burger was disgusting (salt patty) and the philly chicken was not much to speak of. The worst part was that they brought out our wings (appetiser) with our dinner (entree) and then brought out an appetiser that they clearly forgot about midway through our meal. (no appology) The waitress never asked us how our food was and it took her 20 minutes after we finished our meal to get us our check! She also included 15% gratuity for a party of two, who does that?! I would have given her that tip anyway but I've never seen that.

After a long weekend at the Long Beach Marathon I just wanted some food before starting the long drive home. The wings caught my husband's eye and I figured I could get by on veggie pizza. I was so excited to let my usually Vegan self have some cheese as a reward for my 5K PR earlier in the day! This place was a waste of a treat. The only thing with any flavor was my husband's order of hot wings. I tasted the sauce, it was hot but bland. Hot is not a flavor. The fried pickles were tasteless and ashy, not good at all. Pizza dough was undercooked and the toppings were, not to be redundant, but bland! I did enjoy my happy hour house margarita and was offered regular or peach, had peach on the rocks, and when it was gone I happily ordered another one. They charged me full price for the 2nd, it was only 2 bucks more but I mentioned it to the waitress and she argued that it was not the house margarita offered for Happy Hour. UMMMM, I ordered by pointing my drink out on the Happy Hour menu, and then said "another one of these" to get the 2nd. I said whatever, its only 2 bucks, and she left it on there. It was the principal and completely summarized why I couldn't stand this joint. I even saw a guy waving a waitress down a couple of times, but the place wasn't even busy. The service was slow, the food was bland, the check was wrong and the waitress was unfriendly. If you are into that, enjoy!

Jesus, why is it so hard for people to cook a burger properly?! My girlfriend: Should I order the burger medium? Me: Medium rare, so it comes out medium. Cooks always overdo the burgers. My girlfriend: I'll have the Mulberry Street Burger, medium rare. Waitress: OK. Me, 15 minutes later: WTF this burger is extra well done What is wrong with people?!?! New tip, only get the wings at this place, and nothing else...ever!

First of all, any place that makes you sign a waiver to order their Atomic hot wings is A-OK with me! I asked the waitress to let me try just a little bit of the Atomic sauce, just to see what the fuss was about and I could smell the heat from this sauce before she even got to my table! I dipped a toothpick in and tasted and thought I was going to die. How someone could possibly eat a whole wing, much less a plate of wings, of this is beyond me. So, I usually get something a little less face-melty, like the Spicy Honey wings, which are delicious. I've also had a couple of their sandwiches which were good. I'm giving it 3 stars despite the good food because the service has been spotty. There have been a couple of times that I've come here and have had to wait 20 mins to be acknowledged. One time we came and they didn't bring one of the orders until after the rest of us were done eating. To be fair, other times the service has been fine so I guess it just depends on who is working that day. That's a shame though.

This place is bomb! I love their wings-I've tried all of them, even atomic :) Their pizzas are good, but I have to admit they are pricey. My favorite to get out of this place are their wings because they are well worth to eat as Wingstop. I must warn you about the atomic, they are REALLY HOT. I suggest you order milk with that if they have one, last time I have to bring my own. And yes, they are good to taste.

Visited Alondra's a very long time ago with my girlfriend to redeem a restaurant.com gift certificate. Overall the experience was fine, and I would go again as long as I had the gift certificate to use. The wings were all good with the exception of their spiciest sauce. It was extremely spicy, which was fine, that's what we wanted. But I feel that the taste of the sauce was compromised in order to make it extremely spicy. They didn't taste very good and unfortunately we ordered a bunch of them. We'll avoid that one next time.

If you love garlic, then you have to try the garlic fries here at Alondra. By far the best garlic fries I've ever come across. Thick fries straight from the fryer, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and a good amount of garlic with garlic oil I believe. Bomb diggity.

Cant really give this place more than 3 stars because nothing about it give itself more than 3 stars. The wings are okay. Nothing special. Nothing you cant get at Wing Stop and pay 1/3 as much for the same thing. If I am going to pay this kind of money for wings I will go to Hooters instead. At least I know I will be satisfied. Nothing good to say, nothing bad either. over all UNIMPRESSIVE.

Been here over a dozen times over the past couple years. There are sooooo many tasty treats i like here. The fried cheese ball thingies are great and usually fill me up by themselves. So cheesy and perfect to dip in tangy marinara sauce and a little bit greasy to add extra flavor. Mmmmmmm.. The pizzas are pretty good too. My favorites are the bbq chicken with red onions, the tomatoe, bazil and shrimp and the buffalo chicken with ranch. Each pizza has a mafia name which i don't remember off hand. The pizza is light and tasty. The hot wings are pretty good too. They're a bit on the less meaty side and are kinda crispy, naked style. They have a variety of flavors to get them in(my favorites being hot, extra hot, teriyaki and honey bbq). They also throw in veggies and dressing which i like just as much as the wings(gimme all the blue cheese ya got). Their salad dressing is thick and rich(not watery like some places which drives me nuts). Their extra hot and beyond ain't no joke. The extra hot leaves me sweating like i just jogged around the block as i nervously fiddle around in my seat waiting for the burn to die down. NIce. They offer booze too and great happy hour specials for drinks and food. They have one happy hour(around 4-6pm, something like that) and a late night happy hour too which is dope. I always sip on a Blue Moon or Hef with my grub. The place is mafia themed. There are portraits of famous(infamous) old school mafiosos all over the walls. I've sat in almost every booth just so i could read there bios. They have 4 decent size flats screens to watch what ever games they have on at the time. It would be perfect if they had mafia movie or italian music playing in the back ground(but they don't ! ! !) The service is ok. Sometimes the waitresses are a tad bit confused but they are nice. Oh yeah, almost forget the fried twinkies with whip cream and raspberry sirup. If you never had one of there babies, you got to try it.

*This review is based solely on the wings* Okay, so I finally got my paws on some Alondra hot wings and I'm sad to say that I was very disappointed. These wings are Wing Stop at best. The lemon pepper tasted exactly like wing stop and the buffalo sauce tasted like Frank's Red Hot. Also, the wings were a bit small :-/ The upside was the customer service. Very very good!!! Friendly and hospitable. A+ Anyway, I consider myself somewhat of a semi-pro wing critic and Buffalo Wild Wings blows this place out of the water and I'm not 100% sold on them either. So yeah,, with that being said, I will not be returning unless I'm stuck in downtown Long Beach and am super desperate for some wings, or I'm there to try their pizza or something else.

The cheese balls were really good, and the pizza was decent. The location is very convenient for downtown long beach residents. I just couldn't get over the price. If you go there for just the cheese balls, then I can see a very favorable review. The beer was very over priced as well. The price point is even with the 10% off for checking in. Again the cheese balls are totally worth checking out at this place. The service was alright.

Got here @ 6:30pm didn't get our order til 8pm. Hot wings was cold, onion rings batter still uncooked , and seasoned fries burnt . Gave us 10 percent discount but checking in yelp is the same thing . First time and last time ever to this place .

This place is downstairs from my apartment and everytime we come, it's usuallly now busy. It takes forever for them to come even though theres enough of them to cover the tables. Probably my last time here, its not worth my time waiting longer to order than getting the food.

I had the best experience dining in at Alondra Hot wings. The service was fast and the food was good! I sat at Anastasia and our waitress was a doll. I can't remember her name but she was very attentive. Even the manager was attentive. She came over so pleasant and calm, asking if we were doing ok and if we needed anything. Which we did, because we needed more ranch. She kindly brought it over to us, making us feel like we was at moms house with her warm touch. I believe her name was Bree, because a waitress yelled it out asking for her help. Great food !Awesome service! I will be coming back !

I could have gave this place one star but the sauce that I love so much so I gave you one more star. It was a slow Friday afternoon Reasons: - Bad service, ignorance, lazy, careless server. Our group of 4 have been seated by a host for 10 minutes long (after we were ready to order) but our server didn't come for even drinks! -Hungry and upset. We have our garlic parm fries first. It was really greasy and tasteless. - 10 minutes later we have our wings WITHOUT THE PAPER BASKET, UTENSILS, PLATES, OR NAPKIN. I had to ask the hosts for it since our NICE lady server didn't come back - The wings was so overcooked that you can tell just by the look. It was tiny, small, and dry looking (pictures are below). My jaw was exhausted after eating 4 wings because it was so hard. -At last, our server gave us the check and went back to the register talking and chilling with two other servers and one supervisor (I think because she was wearing blue shirt long sleeves). We were waiting and waiting for her to pick up our check but she was too focusing to the conversation. In conclusion, I will never come back again even though this place has the better wings (better than BWW). The service and overcooked wings just ruined the flavor +enjoyment / turned my hunger to upset and left unhappy. Poor of management.

I rate this place two stars. One star being that the waitress was friendly and the pizza was good. As for the wings they were very very basic, tasted like wings you make with franks red hot, the fries were very salty and soggy. Another thing I disliked is that it was very slow when I went in and it still took over twenty five minutes for our food to be served. The prices are not bad but the food quality is horrible. I won't be back

First time there. Unfortunately, never going back there again. I was so hungry waited 50 mins for our order that never came. We had to leave and eat somewhere else. Poor customer service. I believe they forgot about our order.

Super delish fast and friendly service! The wings and cheese balls were absolutely on point the frys on the other hand were a little stale and burnt! The cheese balls were soft and warm and melts in your mouth and the wings were cooked just right and had the right amount of sauce! Would definitely come back again!!!

This placed is called Alondra Hot WINGS, and I don't know if the name means that WINGS are their specialty but they were terrible...I don't know if the cook was having a bad day or not but these wings were burned inside, they were hard and they barely had any bbq sauce...the garlic fries I ordered were so greasy, I've heard people say good stuff about this place but I don't know what happened. The service was good, good waiters...food is bad

  • Emily E.

Fist I will start off saying that their food is very good, I love the french fries and my favorite hot sandwich is the 5 point. All very tasty and yummy. BUT..... The worst service EVER!! From all the times I have been her I have put up with their snotty waitresses( they only have one good waitress there) and incompetent management. The last time I went here was the last straw. Here is the run down: 1. We walked and and sat ourselves as instructed by one of the waitresses. 10 mins pass by and no one has asked us if we want anything to drink(the place was not packed or busy). Another 10 mins pass and they finally ask if we want anything to drink. So we order two beers 2. While taking our drink orders the waitress is in a bad mood or something. When she brings us our drinks but she brings them in small plastic cups while everyone around us is getting big glass pints! Our beers where about half the size of theirs! 3. We order our food about 15mins later cause that's when another waitress decides to see if we have be helped or want anything to eat. So we order fries and 12 hot wings. Our fries come out quick, hot, and yummy. BUT!! about 20mins later we are still waiting for our wings. So we see one of the waitresses coming with some wings(the same one who gave us the plastic cups), but she takes them to a table of guys who came in after us. So about 10mins later a waitress comes to us and tells us that our wings were given to the wrong table!! So finally after another 30mins we get our wings. 4. We order another beer, and they bring us the correct size. Not a plastic cup but a real glass pint. We didn't mention anything about the plastic cups, but I'm very sure they realized their mistake. 5. The so called "manager" is walking around asking people is they are doing good. As you can image, we were very upset with the whole thing. So I reply " while actually we have a problem..." we rolls his eyes at me and walks away!!!! WTF!! So that's when we really got super upset. I asked one of the waitresses if that was her manager, she said yes. I told her I want the owners name and phone number, so she runs to the manager and tells him what's going on. That's when he cares, he comes and asks what's going on. I tell him I tried telling him and he just brushed us off. He gave us the H.R. reps phone number her name is Karen. I'm planning on giving a follow up review depending on what the owner says. I used to really love this place, but for management not being able to handle the situation correctly or even try was really mind blowing. The owners really need to clean house, cause your employees represent your company.

Time and time I go here again and again when I am craving some HOT wings. And yes, I mean it when I say HOT! I am usually the type who's able to eat really hot stuff. But their Atomic Wings are too crazy hot for me. You have to sign a waiver form so they won't get sued just in case the wings are too hot for you to handle. I tried my first atomic wing and it was okay... Or so I thought. LOL. I ate the second wing and BAM. There I was jumping up and down the chair I was sitting on. I ran out of water and was dying for another cup of water. It literally took me ten minutes to cool off... I seriously thought I was gonna die... ): I also ordered the Don pizza and was very surprised. The pizza was beyond delish. It wasn't GREAT but it was better than I had expected! So my first trip to Alondra Hot Wings was pleasant (: and the waitresses were overall nice, but there was one bitchy waitress who said she was gonna give us our water, but took forever to get it to us. (this was when I was dying cuz of the atomic wings). I suggest you ordering pizza and wings on the side when you come here. And the Honey BBQ wings are good too. If you can handle hot stuff get the Suicide Wings cuz they're not as hot as the Atomic. But trust me, the suicide wings are pretty hot too! If you're planning to get the Atomic Wings, good luck! You'll need it.

Wine Wednesday! All wine bottles at 50%off! Food is mediocre. Don't come here if you're on a diet. It will ruin you. Wings, fries, pizzas, burgers, and fried twinkies. Yeah, you'll come out 5 pounds heavier. Unless you eat just wings, which are good. Try the Atomic if you like SUPER spicy. Warning: Atomic will make you cry. Literally. They make you sign a waiver form.

Eat here. What we ordered: mild/hot/chilli lime wings, cheese balls, and their seasoned fries. We liked everything we ordered. The cheese balls are basically mozzarella sticks but shaped in a ball and it is really good just as everyone says. The wings aren't bad. They're good and the price is not bad all compared to other other places. I ordered 16 wings for like 10 bucks and 6 wings with fries is roughly about 7.50$. I also really like their seasoned fries. For me it kind of tasted like pizza. I don't know, it's probably just me, but I thought the fries were really good. The service was normal. They have about 6 HDTVs which is nice and the decor is nice and clean. Free soda refills. Only one bathroom stall each for men and women, so if you go on a busy night/day it'll be busy and dirtier. Also, I guess if you park at a structure behind their restaurant they will validate your ticket. I suggest you call them and ask where to park if you are worried about parking. I also used a coupon from restaurant.com . It takes 25 dollars off your entire bill if you spend 35 dollars or more, but gratuity is 18 percent and automatically added. Still a good deal though. All in all, I had a good experience here. Nice location too. But since it is such a small restaurant, I would suspect a long wait on the weekends.

My most recent order from here consisted of a raw pizza (cheese wasn't even melted) and fried tomatoes that were a soggy, sloppy mess. When I called back about it, the girl on the phone refused to let me speak to the manager because I wouldn't give her my name and would only identify myself as an unhappy customer. I got completely ripped off and will never return. Just a terrible experience.

I'm in LOVE !!!! 0 Great salads, awesome pizza, & the best service. Now let me start talking about their wings, My youngest son and I love them HOT, my husband goes with the lemon pepper, and we always choose something different to ad to the 50 + wings we always end up getting. Our family goes quite often and we have never been disappointed. If your a wing lover like my husband Alondra's will keep you smiling. Don't just take my word for it go in yourselves and check it out .

While I cannot vouch for the wings here I have to admit the pizza isn't that bad. This is one of those places that I just happen to eat when I am doing work or having meetings in downtown Long Beach. We always seem to get quick service here and the place never seems to be very crowded. I have been a few times and the wings here really just don't do it for me like some other people here have said. So go with a group and order up some pizza, it's a 3/5 star quality pizza and finding that high of a pizza rating fro me in Los Angeles means they are doing something right.

This place gets a MAJOR thumbs down from me. Why? Let me tell you WHY. When a person is craving crispy chicken wings lathered in hot and spicy sauce, you don't interfere with that craving. You don't suggest to that "craver" that you want Indian food or Mexican. You don't offer alternatives to chicken wings. When it is a WING NIGHT....you best believe it's gonna get down and dirty. Last night was one of those nights for me. I had a craving and chose to satisfy that craving at the local Alondra Wings on Pine Avenue. I've been here a few times before; service has always been below average, but the food proved to be consistently decent. We were waiting for a friend to arrive, so we ordered drinks and appetizers. The waitress was fully aware that we were awaiting a third person. She told us to take our time and what not. She even knew we were planning on ordering DINNER. I don't know how clearer I could have been; "We are STARTING with a salad, fries and drinks...then we will order once our friend arrives." Crystal clear. Our friend arrived about 20 minutes later -- however, our appetizers had only been placed before us about 10 minutes prior. We finally decided on placing our wing orders when a staff member informed us that we could not order -- ANYTHING. I was a bit confused because not only were we there for 30 minutes, tops, but our waitress knew we were planning on ordering dinner and said to take our time. Never in my life have I been approached by a restaurant employee and told that it's too late to order and that he can't do anything about it. There were plenty of people still dining -- and hell, why would I go to a CHICKEN WING RESTAURANT AND JUST ORDER A SMALL SIDE SALAD?!!? There was a definite communication issue with no remedy on the horizon. They didn't care to service us properly and they made it pretty clear that we would have to leave. What?!?!! Wow. I am not a fan of incompetence and I am surely not a fan of Alondra Wings. Hence, why I ended up a HOOTERS last night. I am sure, if it wasn't 8:45pm and on lazy Monday night -- I would have been enjoying wings like a wing craving mad woman would. But alas, that was not in the cards for me that night.... The rude prevailed. The hungry walked down the street to HOOTERS with their heads hanging low.

Damn 2nd to the hottest wings were the hottest I've ever had in my life. Seriously we went here with a big group of guys and nobody could handle it. It was disaster. That being said it's a great restaurant for pizza and wings with a cool "mob" motif. I particularly liked the "Gambino" white sauce pizza. Only been once and that was in 07 but I liked it enough to remember to write a nice review. Check it out.

Thai chili sauce ... WOW! That said, I ordered the chicken tenders for a quick lunch. The fries were not great, but I wasn't there for fries. I went for sauce on the side because I had to go back to the office and knew I'd make a mess if I had the tenders coated. The thai chili was a good balance of heat and sweet. I will do it again for sure ...

One of my favorite restaurants. Much better than the one in paramount. Various flat screens throughout so no matter where you're sitting your not missing the game. A great selection of food for those who don't like wings but the original hot wings are a must. Also its themed on various crime families of America i.e. La Cosa Nostra & The Outfit. Top Notch

We checked out this place after completing a charity dog run. Ironic, isn't it? Burn off calories doing a 3K only to eat hot wings. Anyway, since hot wings is in the name of the restaurant, that's what I went with. We came at 11:00 a.m. on a Saturday afternoon, so the place was empty. Since we had our dogs with us, we opted to sit outside. The service is mostly attentive, even though we were outside. They remembered to check on us for water, napkins and whatnot. So thumb's up for that. I went with the 12 pieces order of hot wings in suicide and honey bbq. I've had a lot of hot wings in my day and am often skeptical of hot-ness levels. However, Alondra lives up to the hype and suicide is indeed oral suicide. Ouch! The honey bbq is deliciously sweet and was a nice balance. I asked for extra crispy wings and I'm not sure if that was a good idea or not. I wasn't sure if it would've been better less crispy. The wings are fairly large but not as big as Wing Nuts'. We also tried the ranch blasted fries, which includes fries tossed in ranch and hot sauce. This is good too, especially if you're too lazy to dip your fries. I think if I lived closer, I would come back again. That being said, I think I still like Wing Stop a bit more.

Went here a couple of times for lunch. Not bad. I've never been to a hot wings place (I know Wing stop and Wing nuts) or whatever are popular. Anyway, so this place isn't bad. They even have something called the "atomic" hot sauce. They make you sign a legal waiver. It's not a big deal. I think the whole signing thing is just for bragging rights and experience. The walls are filled with pictures of mobsters and the menu has a lot of Chicago style fair. One of the items that caught my attention is their "deep fried twinkie". Haven't ordered it yet but maybe one of these days. Anyway, good stuff but stay away from the "bbq" flavor. That is just terrible. It's like ketchup and sugar. Pretty disgusting. The original falvor is the way to go and then dip it in some blue cheese or ranch and mix in a bit of atomic hot sauce and you're good to go. :)

Starving, I was pretty disappointed to find out that if you wanted to buy the 50-wing party platter, you only get to choose one type of sauce and it would be an additional dollar for every other sauce. Who would want to eat the same wing 50 times?? Needless to say, we got more sauces (2 to be exact) and also two orders of fries for take-out. The verdict: Wings: Hot - Not very saucy or hot at all. Fail. I was so disappointed. Spicy honey bbq - Very saucy and spicy, sweet flavor. Overall pretty good. Lime chili - My favorite of the 3, it was like the "Hot" flavor but with more oommph. I do like limes though. Fries: They were well-seasoned but I still felt like something was missing. I like Wingstop fries better. The party platter included a baggie filled with carrots and celery and a tub of ranch. The ranch had a nice interested flavor that went with the wings, maybe added parsley? The total came out to about $40... it was OK, I don't think I'll do party platters here anymore.

Nice decor- they use to be more mom and pop (Whittier Blvd) but now have a "high end" look to them. MEH. I'll take cheap chairs with better food any day. The wings are okay- not the best.. more commercial in flavor. None of that "People actually really care about the food they are preparing"...like pizza hut... but for wings. Our waitress was a Bitach with a capital C*nt. If you have a freaking broken arm.. why not take some days off?.. if you are hurting and in a bad mood.. don't f-ing take it out on your customers. Fucking bitch. She barley made any effort to lift a napkin with her GOOD ARM (I'll pretty sure that was her "Strong arm") She barley looked at us before slapping a menu down and walking away.. **um, okay**... then she comes back late with our drinks.. even a toddler with one arm could have been faster (nicer too). She almost brought the wrong drink.. DIET soda... is not the same a REGULAR Soda (Don't make fun of a inner fat girl eating wings with a diet soda)....She kept hiding in the back by the beer taps.. LAME LAME LAME SERVICE. She was just flirting with this married guy (I know.. saw the ring.. shame on you sir) on the patio... totally ignoring us (We called out, Excuse me several times and STARRED DIRECTLY INTO HER EYES) when we were ready to order.. check.. to go box.. etc. That type of service deserves nothing but the Clap. BOOOO!! Food: atomic wings (HTB) were nothing but vinegar and Tabasco. Lame. The waiver was lame too.. just to sign your name and date. I thought you would have a fun little piece of paper to fill out the info. She devil waitress from the bowels of hell brought out ranch when we asked for blue cheese. GRR. The Pastrami "works" was just masked with cheese... and lame peppers and onion.. there was no pastrami. (I'll stick with the Hat) just an under stuffed cheese **steak.. yea right** sandwich. Although the area was nice.. the food and service were utterly a major disappointment.

Me and my girlfriend came here for dinner after a recommendation from a friend and a craving for hot wings. The wings were awesome. Can't say they were the best I ever had (but the spicy honey bbq were the best bbq wings I have ever had). Also had the garlic cheese fries with garlic and olive oil. You also have to try the fried breaded cheese balls. The service was great and the staff was very friendly.Didn't order it but the philly cheese steak looked really good. Definitely check this place out.

This is an excellent spot with great variety and too many good choices that its tough to make a decision. I have eaten here 3 times. The appetizers I have had are the rat pack nachos which are unique and excellent, the wings (ok not great), and the buffalo chicken strips (very good). They serve pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, beer, wings desserts, and more. there menu is like 6 pages or so. I have had a burger which was delicious, and the works philly cheesesteak sandwich which was great. Most meals come with fries which you can substitute for garlic fries (much better choice) or a small salad. To cap off your meal you MUST get a deep fried twinkie. Served with whip cream and powdered sugar. I don't get the boysenberry sauce its not necessary. They are heavenly. So so so so damn good it will blow your mind if you haven't had one before. They are $1.50 each which is hard to believe. They could probably sell them for 4 bucks. Overall this is a great place to eat lunch or dinner, or even beers and apps. Great value, great food, tons of choices, they have TVs with sports on, you can't go wrong. I'm trying the pizzas next time they look awesome.

The Meatball Sandwich only get ONE STAR here. The classic Meatball Sandwich.. is NOT... to be found here. BUT... I must say that I have had other very good items in the past, from off the large menu at this location. Like the Sausage, Peppers and Onion sandwich, the pizzas, and they have excellent Chicken Wings (a solid "B"), much better then that not so good Wing Stop that I hate. But the Meatball Sandwich here SUCK ASS. The meatballs were small and tasted like something out of a can of Chef Boy R Dee. Because of the taste and texture, clearly they were not made fresh here. The sauce was just ..."ok"... but the crappy meatball taste was abundant over all. I give the sandwich a " D "

Parking: there is a sort of "free parking" , there is a parking building across the street on 4th or was it 3rd that if you get your ticket validated at alondras, you can have up to 2 free hours of parking. (5/5) The quality of the food were average, but since I am a great fan of spicy food, I tried x-hot, it was normal and average, suicidal makes me feel it after 4-5wings down. As part of a dare, me and all my friends tried 1 piece of atomic wings each just to see who can last the longest and three out of six of us ended up tie-ing. One was not that bad, but it took me a good fifteen minutes before the hotness died down from my cheeks and lips (definitely better than wingstop's atomic wings). If you ever is in the mood for something spicy, you'd have to come to this place. (4/5) Service: the wait staff has very average service, everything's there, but nothing can be said about the extra mile. (3/5) Prices: the prices are somewhat reasonable, but preferrably a bit cheaper would be even better. (3/5) Wait time: it usually takes anywhere from fifteen to twenty minutes to get the food but when there is nobody else there, ten minute tops! (3/5) Extra: this place has a chicago-mafia themed environment, there are pictures of mafia families and members and it has a unique experience. (+2) Total: 20/25= 80%

Only two stars! Our waitress was super good and attentive. The food however was not good. I ordered the chilli bread bowl, which was clearly frozen. The bread was rock hard. The steak sandwich was cold. The only decent thong was the French fries. I've been to the alondras in Alhambra and that was a good experience, this place drops the ball. It was a weekday and not busy so I'm guessing the ingredients aren't fresh. I would suggest going somewhere else.

Came in around 1145 am. Lunchtime grubbing in downtown Long Beach. It's the second time I've had wings this week, but it's my first time ever at Alondra's. It looked pretty empty from the outside compared to the other places. Inside, was the same story. Nowhere near filled capacity. People were inside in the nicely conditioned restaurant. Younger crowd of restaurant staff, but patrons at this time are business people. If you order a 6 wing meal, you get fries with your order. If you order 12 or more, you can split your order, but it's a $.50 cents charge. I ordered the lime chili and lemon pepper wings. The wings were a good texture. I wonder if the same chef cooks for Hooters because that's what the wings reminded me of, yet compared to my Hooters experience, Alondra's were not as salty. Service was pretty prompt. Customer service backed off enough to where I didn't feel pestered, but didn't do any courtesy checks with me until I was about to pay my bill. People started filing in, after I came in around 12PM. There are free two hour parking lots around the downtown or if you work in downtown already, it's an easy walk over. Wingstop and Alondra's are practically on the same level to me, but their flavors are different, so it will just depend on which area I'm in.

If you're into spicy, get the suicide wings.

It's kind of a sports bar, with games on the tvs and an emphasis on "tailgate" food. The Rat Pack nachos are fantastic. Of course the wings are delicious, and there are tons of flavors to pick from.

I met my first real yelper at Alondra today. Some go to check out Warren G in the LBC, I hit up Long Beach to check out Alondra, meet a yelper and dive into some hot wings. That's how I roll. I met up with these Kool Kats from this website QMania. It's a website all about the deals. If you're like me and get excited about 50% off, free soda, buy one get one, deal of the day, somethin' for nothin', show me yours I show you mine, you get the drift, check them out qmania.com/search/search… I searched Qmania for a Hot wing deal that I could share with all of you, but Alondra Hot Wings hasn't been hit with the hip stick just yet. They haven't jumped on the Qmania mad wagon. But Hooters is on there, buy 10 get 10 free. Sounds like the deal to me. Check out Qmania.com they have deals for just about everything. It's big in Hawaii but it's coming to a town near you. As for Alondra and the Hot Wings, they're good, really good. Tasty little suckers. I especially enjoyed the lemon pepper and the hot. The ranch was fantastic, I could've drowned myself in it. I heard you can tell a lot about a person and the way they eat their wings. If a person sucks all the meat off and there's nothing left but bones, that means they're not a silver spoon fed baby. Well everyone on this table sucked those wings to the bone. Either we all run in the same social group or these wings are just that damn good. I'd say it's both. Good times.

Walked to Alondra Wings on my lunch break the other day. Ordered their boneless wings which are pretty much chicken strips tossed in their buffalo sauce. The wings were okay. Nothing to write home about (even though I guess I kind of am). The wings were a little over cooked and a little too breaded. The sauce helped them out though. The fries were thick cut but really lacking in flavor even with their seasoned salt on them. They were not the best wings I've ever had but they weren't the worst although next time I am walking up Pine for lunch, I'll probably walk on past it to the new Wingstop off of 4th and Pine.

Anyone that knows my significant other and I... knows how much that guy looooves his hot wings. He would probably eat them for every meal if possible. His poor digestive system.... Anyway, we were at Yardhouse the other day having a drink, and he decided that, SUPRISE! He wanted hot wings. Rather than ordering them there at Yardhouse, we decided to take a little stroll up the way to Alondra's on Pine St. The inside of this place is decorated in pictures of Mafia bosses and such. Pretty cute little idea. And its pretty interesting to read about all of the scandalous shit they all did while you're waiting for your food, beer, etc. The menu is ginormous with tons of different kinds of pizza, wings, sandwiches, salads, various fried foods.... you get the jist. We ordered a cheese pizza (for moi), honey bbq wings (for manfriend), and an order of fried zuchinni (because we were buzzed and we're fatasses). Oh, and 2 hefs for our booze fix. By the way, the beer comes in huuuuge mugs. Delight! The food arrived in no time at all. I had a couple of pieces of the pizza.. .pretty damn good. I ordered extra sauce.. and I think if I hadn't, it would have been pretty bare in the sauce department, so keep that mind if you love you some sauce! One thing I would have liked... if it were a bit more well-done. I like my pizza more on the done side. Not very "doughy", if you feel me. I had a wing or 2... decent. I liked the sauce. Im just not very into wings. Manfriend said he would have preferred them to be a bit more spicy. And the fried zuchinni was delish. The batter they used was more like a beer batter... yum! And the ranch was sinfully good. I hate drowning things (especially fried foods) in ranch, but in this case, I made an exception. I was such a fatass that night... So, since we live right down the way, we'll probably be back to Alondra's.. you know, for the buzzed/drunk munchie food. Or for when we just feel like being complete pigs. =)

"Hot Wings Don't Get Any Better" This place really rocks! Right on Pine Avenue in the heart of Downtown Long Beach. One of the best American Comfort food locations in Long Beach in this particular Vicinity. The Margarette pizza with pepperoni and Hot Buffalo wings are my favorites. Great relaxing food great atmosphere and warm and friendly customer service from the staff. The staff is constantly checking in on you, just enough to not make you feel suffocated, but acknowledged. They always keep your drinks topped off! Very important especially with the atomic wings.

I hate to say it but the wings were mediocre. Also, I asked for a side of the suicide sauce just to try it and was charged 75 cents!!!!! Bad form! Last thing: no TV above the bar. What the? Did we lose a war??? There should ALWAYS be a TV above the bar!!!

Another drunken review! Hooray!!!! Give me an hour and I will update the grammer. This is not the place you take a date. It is the place where you know you will break out all over yo face after eating anything from here. Came here a while ago for the most new gauc off hosted by Matthew K with his glorious avocados! You know a place is classy when they have deep fried twinkies on the desert menu. This is not the normal type of establishment I would normally find myself in only cause I have a hard time eating anything fried and not breaking out. Mainly because my body has gotten too used to only sushi. But I like this place! I do I do I do, and thats rare for me to write about any hot wings place. This place has a good comfortable vibe. They only have beer and wine which is for some reason odd. whatevs. I got the Alondra chili which was really good, it came out hot which is rare, i don't know why but it is. AAAAANNNYYYYways While looking through the menu, I thought it was a joke with the hot wing spiciness, until I asked one of the waitresses and she gave me a serious face while explaining WHY YOU WOULD NEED TO SIGN a waiver to have their spiciest sauce. I found street parking easily, but can understand it would be easy to find it when it was as cold and windy as it was when I came down to Long Beach. But there are many structures. Food is cheap and there are tvs to watch the game. I would come back!

Guacamole competition UYE in conjunction with the Prop ATE UYE. Place isn't too bad. Parking is either in the street or one of the $5 parking structures, which is what I opted for. It was actually half a block away, so it wasn't far. Not bad for a wings place/sports bar. The restaurant itself is in kind of a triangle shape, so there were booths along all 3 walls with more tables in the middle. There were a couple of TVs so you can watch the game while munching on some wings or whatever it is that floats your boat. At our table, we decided on a platter of 50 wings. They've got some pretty straight forward sauce flavors and I like how for their "atomic" sauce, there was fine print saying it required a waiver signature. That hot? I was told by a couple people that it's so insanely hot, you best go home right after you eat it. The only flavor I thought was kinda weird (but was still willing to try it) was the maple syrup.... I was outvoted... We got half lemon pepper and the other original spicy. The wings themselves were kinda small on the meatage and were a little overcooked. The lemon pepper were dry but at least tasted good, so the original spicy was just right and wasn't drowning in sauce. It came on a big platter with a BIG bowl of ranch dressing (where most places give you a little tiny thing) and carrots and celery. We also got a dozen cheeseballs (here is where I'd usually say something pervertive, but I'll leave it up to John C to come up with something, haha) which was basically a ball of cheese filled pizza dough that's baked (so the inside gets cooked) and then quickly deep fried so it gets a nice crispy exterior. Those were good, but as I said at the table, "Anything involving melted cheese is a winner in my book" The guac competiion was cool. Congrats to Javier J who won with his chili con guacamole. Of course he had like 4 of the 8 or 9 guacamoles on the table, haha. Bradley and Mr. Q were being dicks and were watching me as I was judging each guac.... WTF? hahaha

Just revisited this week. All the usual suspects were perfect as usual--but my fiance ordered their chicken alfredo pizza --I had my doubts, but you know what? It was actually damn good! The wait staff was very friendly as well. The only thing from stopping me from giving this five stars is the parking...A NIGHTMARE! Many of the metered spots around Alondra are these stupid 24 minute "green zones" the city of Long Beach installs to either hurt local restaurants, or just piss off the public for the hell of it. We had to drive way down Broadway to park and it was freezing and stormy....but the food made up for it.

Was asked here by a friend one night and after reviewing the menu was excited to go! Just moved to California and was thrilled to find a place that served fried pickles! Definately not something that you see out here. Plus im a big wings fan. Ordered medium wings extra crispy which come with really good fries, and of course to start i had the fried pickles! Everything was great, the wings were perfectly crispy and the hot sauce on them was fantastic. Their fries are seasoned and fresh, they really hit the spot, and of course i was in heaven with my fried pickles! Let me say though that the service here is terrible. I've never spent two hours in a wings joint before and it was because the food comes out slow, the waittress barely checked on us, or refilled our drinks, and it slightly ruined the food for me. I would get take out from here again but i dont think i would ever dine there. But i would recommend the food to anyone who loves wings and french fries, and if you're feeling frisky try the fried pickles.

The wings were pretty good. I enjoyed the cheeseballs. The best feature was the atmosphere of the place. Biggest problem was the 40 minute wait.

Went in for a burger. It's realy hard being within a mile of this place and NOT wanting to order wings. But I stayed the coarse. Burger with cheddar, avocado and bacon. Perfection. The burger tasted great, was not overcooked. I have to say I am not a fan of the seasoning on the fries. Oregano? Really? On Fries? That's not OK man. So this place is even more dangerous to me now. Burgers, Wings, Stella on tap. Oh lord. I want to go for my birthday and get the platter of 250 wings and the side of veggies.

I LOVE ME SOME WINGS!!! We originally came here to just strictly try their wings. But as we were perusing the menu, we noticed that a lot of people were ordering the pizza as well. We decided to order a pizza - an Alcatraz (pepperoni lovers delight) - in addition to our wings. We tried the Thai Chili and Spicy BBQ flavors. I thought their Thai Chili wings were really tasty - they weren't spicy at all, so don't be fooled by the name. The Spicy BBQ wasn't as good in my opinion, it was a little too heavy on the sauce. The wings were nice and crispy, and a decent size, not at all like those scrawny little Hooters wings. The pizza was really really cheesy, maybe even a little too cheesy, I had to blot away the extra grease. I'm not sure if our pizza came with extra cheese, or if that's the way they make their pizzas. But my guy loved it. I thought they had a good crust, it was crispy and not too bready.

I will choose this place over Wing Stop any day! It's great, I ordered a Chicken Alfredo Salad and my husband ordered a Pizza and we ordered a plate of wings. Everything was great! We would walk there, since we lived near by and it was perfect. Yes, the parking sucks. Anything in Downtown LB has little to no parking! Bummer. Other than that, the food is great! I did see the Fried Twinkie, but was too scared to try it!

Ah Alondra, how I enjoy you so. Sure, you have this Chicago attitude where you think the world revolves around your mobsters and your way of doing business. But still, you're very much a good place to get wings when you're tired of hooters or just want to feel classy... in that mobster way, for a night. First off I have to get it off my chest. Long Beach parking is not that great. It seems that there's plenty of spots to park in that are metered, but they're all 24 minute only parking. Which seems counter productive if you want to bring in the whole night life to your city. As for the food. I like it here. I always seem to get the cheese balls. And why the hell wouldn't I? I love cheese and balls. Ok, get your mind out of the gutter. They're deep fried and oh so tasty. I have to control myself on these. They are very delicious. The wings come in all sorts of different flavors. I've gone a couple of deep end sauces into it, the maple syrup one is interesting. The levels of intensity that they offer in terms of hot sauces... well, let's just say that I'm not sure I could handle them. They even make you sign a waver if you want to get the hottest of the hot. The pizza is good, though I don't know if I'll come into Alonda's for the Pizza more so than to get a craving of wings out of the way. It's not bad pizza, but I generally just don't think of this place as the go to place for it. The service is pretty high up there. They were able to work around a huge unofficial yelp event with about 30 people with ease and no complaints. Go for the Cheese balls and stay for the wings. Classy place all around.

Hmm... I wondered what did I order from here. Hot Wings, of course! I ordered 6 wings and fries. My wife decided to try the fish and chips, good but curious they even have this in their menu. Their BBQ wings were great and the fries were addictive. I was happy with the service and our drinks were refilled often. This place was pretty crowded and we weren't able to take part too much with the Hot Wings/Guac contest UYE. But good thing we enjoyed the food.

This is a great place to come for wings and beer and to catch a game. The atmosphere is cool its not real pricey and their wings are pretty good. A decent selection of wings and other fried food ie; pickles, which were pretty good. Cant go wrong with hot wings and a beer.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM FANTASTIC !!!!! TEN STARS !!!!! I have to say I am a hot wing connoseur have sampled many from many different places and keep coming back to Alondras!! EVERY time we have come here the service is excellent and the food is excellent as well !!! "Why go anywhere else?" Ah you might think its unadventurous and routine but the quality of the food, the service is ALWAYS great!!! The servers (THIS is actually something I am a stickler for - if you are not treated nicely I just don't go back - period - I don't care how "good" the food is. If you are not treated nicely I avoid it like the plague! Alondras has always had excellent service when we have been in :) The wings are always FRESH - I can tell if something has been re-heated or frozen/reheated you must cannot do that WITH WINGS and Alondras its always FRESH . The ranch they serve I can only describe as "wicked-good" and its true!! Just can't get enough of it! Tried the tomatoe and zucchini appetizers and those are really good too - again fresh ingredients to start. Oooh I'll be back !!!!! Actually I have a problem "staying away" from this delicious establishment !!! ha ha ! :)

MMMM lemmmmoooon pepper wings... they're awesome. The bf and i went in for lunch and ordered 1 large salad, 2 sodas, cheese bread, & 12 wings: lemon pepper and mild, the grand total, under $23. We liked that the wings had a crispiness to them but weren't dried out, for those of you who are 'ranchaholics', the ranch dip was kind of weird at first, but i think it's maybe because it wasn't typical 'buttermilk', but once you get past that, its addicting! The cheese bread was mediocre, i kept thinking 'freezer' food... Our waiter was on top of things as far as checking back without being at our table every 5 seconds... Can't wait to go back!!!

i really like eating here. the wings are good (lots of good flavors to choose from), pizzas good (random combinations) , the cheese ball appetizer is good, and the garlic fries, are AMAZING :) overall good food, chill casual atmosphere, and good service. the only thing is that this place is always crowded during a game (no matter what game is on) and it gets a little rowdy and loud during those time, especially because people are drinking, and yelling, and lot of people come in a big group.. so the volume does go kind of high.

Here's the thing...My BF and I love spicy food and we basically eat out every night so believe me when I say we've tried it all in Long Beach and nobody gets it right with the spicy but Alondras. We had their Atomic wings the first night in and they KICKED OUR ASS. I think they changed the sauce recently so it may be less spicy than it used to be. I dropped down a level and have suicide when I go in. Perfect. I've got snot and tears running down my face and I have to plow through beer just to stand it. I like to think of it as extreme eating. I'm in heaven. Their fries are powered with what seems like a Parmesan and basil seasoning and their pizza is always excellent. Good chili dogs too when you don't feel like pizza. And they bake everything so its always super-crispy-goodness. The wings are baked first as well so basically no one serves wings like Alondras. I'm always depressed when we order them from somewhere else now. That being said, the service is touch and go. It sometimes can be a little slow and the girls are kinda blase about the whole thing but honestly its not terrible. When I make my request for more napkins or another beer or blue cheese with my mouth on fire and swollen lips they always bring it right over. I'm picky as all get out and I really love Alondras. I go there at least two or three times a month now....for the wings. What can I say? They have become my crack.

Good food! Bad service! If u don't mind the delay and have time to sit an wait 35 min for a take-out order then it's an excellent place.. The food never disappoints but the wait time is killer!!

It's fast approaching a year that this place has been on Pine, and I still love it! So much more than just wings too! Where else can you get a deep-fried Twinkie? I've ordered huge batches of their wings for get-togethers and have been very satisfied with the price/quality of the wings.

  • OzoNova J.

Have been a few times and the service is always crummy but the food is always bomb. We went in one night and they ran out of large pizza dough. Instead of having us order the medium, they gave us a medium on the house. Proved to be a retaining customer.

The good part is we came with a waitress who works here so she made some good recommendations. The theme is all mobbed out with photos of old gangstas. The wings are good and they have a lot of different flavors of sauces. This time we had the spicy bbq which is the perfect blend of spicy and sweet bbq. and we had the mild which is tasty. We tried a pizza and it tasted like it could have stayed in there a little longer for a crispier crust and I think the toppings were placed on the pizza half way before it was done. They have all kinds of varieties of pizza yet they somehow all sound similar. I tried the atomic sauce and its really hot to the point it just doesn't taste good. But i still wanted more. Friends ordered fried snickers balls or something like that but I couldn't do it

A 3.5 star place. The wings were pretty good. Very standard sorts of food otherwise. Felt they were a tad slow. I can't get too excited about the place to bump it up to a 4 star.

  • Blu M.

$4.28 for a glass of the strawberry lemonade. Sure there were real strawberries in it and it tasted delicious but that seemed a bit much for some fountain drink. It should have done a dance when the waitress placed it on the table. The place is somewhat dark and cool looking. There are infamous ganstas on the wall so if you want to know the story of the gangstas you hear in rap songs or know ones that may be in rap songs later you can come here and read up on them as you eat or wait for your food. They had a few tvs with the game on. The atmosphere was cozy. The only thing that was very off-putting and after a while insanely annoying was the music. Playing quite loudly was some 1920's music. Back in the time where a man's voice crooned over a symphony slowly and drawn out. Overall a good experience but maybe the music is why so many people called in the order and then quickly got their food and left. Still a pretty cool place. It wasn't crowded at all and it wasn't empty. The house chili tasted like beans with no seasoning. The wings were delish and the spiced fries were crunchy yet good.

Great pizza and wings at this mob joint! I love the ganster theme inside. You would even think that the brothers who run the place have some blood relation with a Soprano. They have various sauces for the wings. The pizza are always loaded with toppings and it isn't oily and greasy either. Their garlic fries are the bomb! Definitely a must eat joint that's right on Pine Ave!

The food here is pretty good, its just the service that really sucks! I worked downtown and everytime Ive been here 10 customers or 1 the service is always slow... (I can watch paint dry while I wait). The suicide wings are my fave but the salads and sandwiches are nothin to write home to mom about.. Dine in here if you enjoy waiting around for your food, twidling your thumbs obsessively, playing with your iphone, and hoping that the waitress who passes you for the millionth time will finally have your food. Even take out is slow! I tried to avoid the rukus by ordering take out and even then they couldnt get the point that take out orders should be paid for before dine in patrons,, and this has happened everytime!! Friggin annoying !!

Minus one star for the "hey, you can sit at that booth because you're only three people." Yo, don't make the customer wait: they're hungry, and really want some grub. Out side of that, it's a four-star place with great pizzas, good salads and other interesting items that I can't eat anymore; Alondra Hot Wings is the perfect addition to Pine Avenue in an area that needs decent food (read: not Wasabi). The service is quick, and the food's always of a decent quality. I don't know the name of the pizza, but we always get the Mushroom, Pepperoni, Sausage and Olive pie. This last time was a bit scant on the sauce, but a large is good enough to feed three to four people. The fried pickles (really, fried pickles!) are also fun.

Hot wings, good. Happy hour, good. Multiple flat screen TVs, good. I have been to this place a few times and every time I go I try something different. And each time it becomes my favorite. The service is so-so but the food and everything else rocks. The good: TV Stella on tap Pastrami Spicy chicken sandwhich Wings (with original hot sauce) The Bad: Parking sucks (like everywhere else in Long Beach) The Ugly: They close kinda early. I could really use a pastrami sandwich after partying on Pine Ave. most nights.

My boyfriend and I have been to Alondra's a few times. He's a NYer and LOVES hot and spicy wings. To speak for him (although I literally did just ask) he enjoys the wings. His only complaint would be they aren't as big and crispy as in NY, but they are the best wings in Long Beach. Now, to me. I'm a spice wimp so I was worried that I may not 'fit in' but their mild sauce is just right for me. They have tons of other kinds of food like pizza, burgers, and salads. Their Gambino pizza is amazing (they use an alfredo sauce base.) Portions are good. We've shared a salad and pizza and we've done individual meals; both times we've left stuffed. The only complaint is the staff seems like this may possibly be their first job and probably their first day. The waitresses, each time, have taken a while to acknowledge us and they couldn't answer questions without either having to ask someone else or just looking at us with a 'durrrr' kind of look. Even paying takes forever. I MAY be a little bit harsh because I've been working in restaurants for years, but, to their defense, they are REALLY nice people. If you start a conversation they are glad to stay and talk and they don't rush you at all. EDITED 7/3: Everytime I go in I LITERALLY have a new hire server. Don't know what's up with their management that keep the servers leaving, but as long as it doesn't change the food.

We live very close to this location and we love it. The waitresses are kind of slow with getting the check and they always forget when we ask them to bring additional things such as ranch. Also, they don't carry A1 steak sauce, just an FYI. Other than that, the food is fresh and delicious. You should definitely try the fried pickles. They are to die for. They have a lot of items you can find at the fair without the hassle of actually going to a fair.

Short review: The one in Montebello is better! This place is good, but the cheeseballs are WAY better in Montebello...they over cook them at the LBC one.

My experience here was fantastic. Went on a Friday night with a party of six and we were seated immediately. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our waitress was very attentive. The food is great. The choices range from pizza and pasta to your basic "American" cuisine. The pizza was great, got the alcatraz, there was a garlic-taste to it, which blended perfectly with the cheese/crust/pepperoni. Also got to try the chili-cheese fries. I don't always like the chili from places. Sometimes it's too watery or to dry, but this one is perfect. The cheese is actually shredded cheddar, a big plus for me. The portions here are huge. It seemed like everyone here were picking off each others plates. Overall had an amazing experience here and look forward to going again.

Grease Grease Grease! everything is deep fried. but not too bad tasting esp. if you like the greasy ness. got the hot wings in like 3 types of flavors. everything was so so but the buffalo flavored wings were pretty good. good place to come and chill since its sort of in the middle of the downtown area. dollar deep fried twinkies definitely make this place worth it as well. its all pretty casual and reminds me of a denny's but more laid back and with permission to be loud.

The service was ok. The waitress seemed like she did not care. The food was pretty good. The Spicy BBQ wings were good. Our table underneath was not clean. There was a lot of fries/ papers etc on the floor. They have large flat screens to watch sports. There was no wait time on Friday at like 630 pm.

I have been a fan of Alondra's Hot Wings for a long time. Back when the only location I knew about was the one in Montebello. The lime chili wings would cause me to drive from LAX just for them. I then ventured out to the Cerritos location and the Long Beach location. However, I still remained loyal to the Montebello location. Returning to that location became so bittersweet because the service just got worse with every visit. The last straw was a time in which the server had places two items we never received and he kept telling us we were wrong and that we had ordered them. He was persistent that I drank something that never came to the table. That was my last visit there. We decided to give The Long Beach location the last shot for the restaurant in general. This past time we went to celebrate the end of finals and to watch the Lakers game. We ordered the Mobb Sampler to start, and it was great. It came fairly quickly. For our main we ordered 25 lime chili wings and they were so much better than times before. They were crispy and filled with flavor! The fresh limes in there were an extra touch I hadn't seen in years. I also ordered a basket of fries which our server, Talia, informed me were different as of that Monday. I enjoyed them more than the last recipe, I ate every single one! This location blew every prior poor experience I've had out of the water. Not only was the food above par, the service was incredible. Talia was extremely attentive and accommodating as well as many managers came to touch with our table and asked us how we were and if everything was okay. Probably the best dining experience I've ever had at Alondra's hot wings! Definitely worth the drive and definitely returning!

I really like the wings here. I think you just have to try the sauces to know what you really like. I tend to stay away from he BBQ because its a little to vinegary. I love the classic hot and mile sauces. The Thai chili tastes like a toned down version of the regular sauce. I haven't really had anything else on the menu so I can't comment but the wing prices are not as high as other comparable wing places. The rest of the menu seems a little expensive, about $10-$19 a plate.

I would give this place TEN STARS if I could. DOUG is the BEST!!! When I was here last time he topped off my glass of wine and scored immediate brownie points. I've been here twice and he has been my server both times and he's just fabulous. The food here is always delicious and the service is impeccable. Can't wait to come back!! Maple syrup wings for the win!

So this is the legendary atomic wing challenge that I've been hearing about. The atomic wings are spicy! I've heard of some people being capable of eating them like nothing, but if you're not a fan of hot stuff, which I am, it is not something to be trifled with! My advice, when you eat it, eat it really fast but beware. The atomic wing may not taste too spicy when you first try it, but it will CREEP UP ON YOU! And the burn lasts for 2-3 minutes before settling down. Your lips, mouth, and tongue will burn and your lips may swell up. You will start sweating like you just finished a marathon. To get rid of the spice, I recommend getting their ice cream, its for $1.50, and it really helps. Unfortunately they only have Vanilla flavored ice cream, but anything basic in pH will help settle the spiciness. The ambience felt really "home-y." Although I highly doubt that it is a family restaurant since there are a few other Alondra Hot Wings located elsewhere, the restaurant has that "family business," type of atmosphere. There are booths set up and small tables in the middle of the room for smaller groups. It seemed like they prioritized seating for the booths first, which is understandable, I mean, who doesn't love booths? The room is painted maroon, but its not dark because of the open windows. There are fans on the ceiling, but they weren't on. There were also paintings and newspapers on the walls as well as pictures of some of the most wanted criminals, is what it seems like. Made me worry a bit while I was eating (jocular statement). There is also a small bar in the corner toward the back of the restaurant, that seemed accommodating for smaller groups (1-2 persons). The restroom was not too dirty, but could use some work. I didn't have a problem, but they could fix the flickering light. Just like someone who just got their eyebrows threaded, the customer service was definitely on point. I'd like to recognize our waitress, Kim, who was very welcoming and executed her role outstandingly; she is the epitome of great customer service. The rest of the staff were pleasing as well especially when the cooks were observing us gasping for air after consuming the atomic wings. We also got 50 wings and four flavors: honey bbq, spicy honey bbq, spicy thai, and lemon pepper. I don't like to compare businesses because every restaurant prepares their food differently, but this place does prepare their flavors with a different quality than how Buffalo Wild Wings prepares their wings. I don't want to say Alondra is better... but it is different, in a good way. =) These wings are served with ranch, and celery/carrots. We also got the Garlic Fries, and those did not disappoint us at all. Overall, 4 stars!

Absolutely awful. I ordered the burger to-go, and I am not sure if the patty was made with real beef!? Although the guy was super pleasant, When I asked the guy (I think he was part of management) for hot sauce he said that was an extra charge! Really... for a little side of tapatio?!

My favorite is the pizza with the buffalo wings and ranch. But the pastrami pizza is close behind. I've ordered to-go but the pizza loses all its texture, crust looses its crisp and cheese is no longer gooey, really is meant to be eaten there.

So finally after hearing great reviews about Alondra Hot Wings I finally found the time to try it out. Let me start off with a LOOOVEEE hot wings so I was already pretty hyped up when I got here, but honestly, I've had better wings. Food: I went here with my boyfriend so we got the hot wings, the flaming lime wings, and a small pizza with steak and mushrooms. The wings were okay. They were pretty small and didn't even have enough sauce on them. Don't get me wrong, I don't like my wings swimming in sauce but some of my wings didn't even have sauce on them and that is a problem. However their pizza was pretty good. The crust was soft and not dry. They didn't skimp on the toppings either so that was a good thing. Service: Our server didn't seem interested in checking in on us. There were plenty of servers and not that many people in the restaurant so I don't understand why he didn't come around and refill our water. We had to ask him to refill drinks. We didn't even have utensils when we sat down at the table and when we asked for them they said they would bring us some and 5 minutes later still no utensils. I don't think I'll be coming back to Alondra Hot Wings. At least not at this location.

I can say the only down fall about this place is they close early. The latest they stay open is 9 pm during the week and 10pm on the weekends. Hubby and I both ordered pizzas. He order the pastrami pizza called a friend of ours". I ordered the Gotti. Both pizzas were oozing cheese which I love. We are going to come back for the wings

So I went to alondras trying to bring a party of 14. They told us they couldn't seat us. Typically most places who can seat that many people will because you make more money. I work in retail and customer service and know that, that is the point of being in business. So then, my boyfriend tries to use the restroom and the "supervisor" more like the egotistical and authority driven night shift girl won't let him. She stood in front of him and said that she wouldn't let him in since he wasn't a customer, but we were about to purchase food. And got another kid to stop him and called security. All while he was trying to wash his hands. Service is horrible. Both my boyfriend and I have eaten here plenty of times to be able to use the restroom. I understand if we were homeless or drunken customers. But again we both have been here on numerous occasions and felt very disrespected. I will no longer be visiting this location. Their wings and pizza are not even that good, it just has always been convenient and typically friendly. I don't ever suggest you come here as you might come across this "supervisor". Again I am in customer service and retail and don't suggest this place if that is what you are looking for. The food isn't that great either. I don't typically write reviews either, but this was an experience. If I could give no stars I would. I will not be coming back to this location, I promise you that there are much better wing and pizza spots.

Wings were pretty saucy... if you're into that kinda thing. Not fatty so that's good but not top impressed. Nothing bad to say though but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

My sister works in Montebello, and always raves about how good Alondra Hot Wings are. So, I was passing by this particular location, noticed it was pretty empty, so I decided to finally give it a try! Sadly, I left disappointed. The wings were warm, not hot when I got them, so I'm not even sure if they were fresh. The lime chile was spicier than the extra hot, which made no sense. They were okay, not worthy of the "best wings in town" title they've given themselves. The bacon fries were tasty, but the bacon was cold and not greasy, so I'm sure it was cooked on a previous day. The service was okay, nothing special. They did honor the yelp check in for 10% off. All in all, I wasted a cheat meal on a meal I didn't enjoy much. Maybe I'll try the Montebello location one of these days, but I doubt I'll come back to this location.

I went with a friend & we split an order of wings...lemon pepper--pretty good & buffalo--tolerable on spice level for me if I don't have too many. We also got their special fries tossed in ranch & buffalo sauce--not too spicy, good. The server didn't seem to understand beer (& I don't even like beer). My friend asked if there was a light beer on tap. she said no, just in a bottle. Then changed her answer & named a light colored beer. I don't even remember what the final answer was. Otherwise, service was OK. There's a small patio in the front. The patio is fun for people watching. Warning: if you sit on the patio, you may get approached by some of the street people. Otherwise, while we were there, my friend ran into a friend passing by, & one of my co-workers also came by on his way in to pick up takeout! women's restroom: single room, hooks on door I'd say 3.5 stars. Located on the west side of Pine, between Broadway & 3rd.

it was just so good. the wings are crispy and delicious. the lemon one (i cant remember the exact name) & the thai spicy were my favorite. My friend and I got a batch that was extra crispy and a batch that was regular and the regular one is cooked to perfection with the right about of crisp. the extra crispy can be a little too overdone. so i would just suggest regular crisp. also, the fries are delicious! the staff is really friendly too! the place is clean. you can't go wrong. enjoy!

Okay because my name is Alondra my goal is to visit all the Alondra Hot Wing locations... I did not enjoy my visit at this location the food was horrible! My mouth was watering for the cheese balls and when they came out I was soo disappointed. The cheese balls were hard and small and swimming in grease... I also ordered the Alfredo and the even that was a disaster the sauce was watery and tasteless. I did enjoy the chicken wings and the serve was slow and it seemed that the staff was making some big mistakes with customers' orders I overheard refunds being made at a few of the tables around me. The couple next to me got frustrated took off. I would have taken off as well but I really wanted to experience this location in order to check it off my list...

I've been coming to Alondra hot wings for about 2 years now and it never disappoints. The limi chili and original hot wings are my favorite. The pizza and cheese balls are good too. Service is usually great as well!

the pizza is wonderful (soft crust, fresh ingredients and not oily). wings are OK, but the sandwiches are great....for the price and quality of food, you cant beat it. go during happy hour and have a beer and appetizer for a great price. I go at least 3 times a week....see you there!!!!!!!!!

The food was amazing! The only BIG probably I have was my bf asked for a 22oz of beer which we were getting since we got here they brought him a different cup it didn't look like a 22oz asked and then said it was.less then 5 min later our waitress came up and said it was a 16oz and they would give him the rest later... wTF first if all why didn't she say that when she served him the beer basically they were trying to charge him the 22oz beer for a 16oz NOT COOL

My husband and I shared an order of original hot wings, a sampler platter and "The Big Apple" burger. - my food was cold - my wings were meh & def not the best wings in town as they claim - my burger was okay but it wasn't anything special worth returning for When our server asked us how our 1st experience was we were very honest and the manager came to our table to offer a second try of wings to go. Thanks but no thank you! The tables here are very small. My husband even spilled his drink while trying to move plates around the table. Made this an even more miserable experience. I have nothing bad to say about our server so she has earned this establishment a star & another for their cheese balls. We paid for food we were not happy with, it was very disappointing. I will NOT be retuning!

This is a tough one... I'd give 3.5 if I could. The service is not bad, per se, but it is awfully slow. It seems like the hostesses and waitresses prioritize everything over seating and taking orders. It's unfortunate, because they aren't actually rude or anything... just seems like their priorities are a bit off kelter. The food is a mix of burgers, wings, pizza... all your typical american grease-faire, but not so greasy you go home feeling like you just drank a glass of oil. It's actually pretty darn good. I've tried the wings, and they are always good... the pizza was tasty, although not my favorite. The burgers are actually really good... it tastes like the meat is lean, and I like that a lot. I tend to go here when its one of those evenings where you aren't sure what you want, and you certainly don't want to dress up for it. A good variety, some decent selections for drinks, and conveniently located for those of us who walk up and down Pine. They lose points for the slow service, and for the extremely limited seating in the place. I hate sitting in the middle of the room, and they have very few booths.

This was my second time here after a few years. I purchased a Groupon offer. I am giving this place 4 stars not because I LOVED the food but because customer service was AMAZING. Our server (Kim) was attentive & quick. The guy at the cashier was very kind as well. We ordered a large pizza of two kinds: The Don & the chicken buffalo sauce topping. We preferred the chicken buffalo sauce topping. It's like eating pizza & hot wings at the same time without the hassle of bones! We also ordered lemon pepper wings, we weren't so crazy about them. I felt they were too crispy & had too much seasoning. If it wouldn't be for the Groupon, we would have payed about $58. That's a lot for pizza for 3 people...but the location is wonderful & perfect for group gatherings.

  • Leana E.

Strawberry lemonade is great + free refills! The waitress even asked if we wanted one to go. How could we say no? The wings were alright, I'm not a fan of saucy wings so I got cajun & lemon pepper. The cajun wings were too spicy for my liking. They should let customers know before they order it that it'll burn your whole entire being for about 15 minutes. Overall, it was ok, but definitely better than other wing spots like Buffalo Wild Wings.

Can't believe how rude the service was. The manager is awful. Confronted us about a Groupon issue. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Avoid the place.

This place is really great as far food goes. The wings are really saucy, which I personally like, and the pizza is soft and really tasty. In terms of service, I think our server could've been more attentive. She only checked on us to ask if we were ready for our check. The food runner (or possibly bus boy idk) was the one who took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. We saw more of him than our actual server and that is my only complaint. The rest of the staff was helpful and friendly.

Food is so amazingly delicious here! Their wings are juicy and cooked to perfection they're so juicy inside it's incredible! I've been at all four location and every time the food does not cease to amaze me. I definitely would recommend this for everyone. There's pasta and chicken strips for kids Wings and pizza They even have CHEESECAKE DOUGHBALLS! Def tried those out. They have discount adds in the newspaper or adds Management is so helpful and the service is like a cherry on the top! You looking for somewhere to be at in Downtown LB this is where it's at :) #goalondrahotwings

I'm so glad I finally got to try this place. I am BIG spice lover. I heard about their Atomic flavor that you have to sign a waiver for and that's what me and the BF got. We got 6 wings Atomic flavor to share, the waitress mentioned that there's a couple that comes in all the time and orders 16 of the wings and finishes them no problem. So I'm like... if they can do it, I can!! O.My.Goodness. they were so fucking spicy. Add the heat (temperature) and just ONE kicked our asses... BAD. We sat there in pain, tears running down our face from ONE. The waitress came over, took one look at us and shook her head. LOL. She came over again and teased us if we needed to go to 7-11 and buy some milk.. after a few minutes of the pain building up more and more, my bf ran across the street to Starbucks to buy some milk LOL. Waitress walked over again and asked if he had ran to the restroom to cry... LOL. We had a good laugh when I told her he actually went to go get milk. So after that initial painful shock, we ate our Chilli Lime flavor wings to cool off, it was OK tasting. My BF was done with the Atomic wings, but I finished my portion because.. I love spicy stuff. I was in pain afterwards though, my stomach just felt super sensitive, but after half an hour it calmed down and I was OK again. No stomach ache of fiery shits thank goodness. Overall: Spicest wings I've ever had, not the best wings I've ever had, and Death Taco at GenkiYaki is still spicier!

  • Peter B.

Service was fine, she got my beer order wrong the first time but was super friendly. The food was just ok. I got the wings and they weren't anything too special. My girlfriend got a sandwich which was pretty ordinary as well. The fried jalepenos were good as an appetizer but they only came with with nacho cheese sauce which tasted pretty fake cheesy.

    (3)
  • Milady D.

Service is slow so expect to wait to place order, food is decent, not OMG but not McDonalds. Try the atomic wings if you want to cry, and the cheesesteak is a little stingy on the meat.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE PINE STREET LOCATION. Eh. maybe because I didn't the original location. but the wings are average here. I was expecting to have my mind blown. instead I just shortened my wallet stack. I guess it's fun with friends to hang out and chill. But just not what I was expecting for wings.

  • Anonymous C.

This place is horrible! I ate there 2 nights ago. The chicken wings were non-breaded and cooked to a dry crisp. The human body cannot digest over cook brunt dry meats properly along with sauces & grease that is processed. KFC Honey BBQ wing were way better than this stuff. So what are they doing that I or we can't do at home? I can throw some wings with skin on in the skillet and burn them to a crisp in grease my self at home. Your better off throwing some frozen TGI Friday's wings in your oven at home. Also Milan's pizza down the street & Stefano's on Shoreline have way better wings than this place. You won't see me in this place again or hear of me recommending this crap food/stuff place. Warning!!! Stay away from this restaurant chain it's amazing how this place stays in business. You people supporting this chain are morons.

  • Diana A.

We come here often and always get awesome service. This place has plenty of screens if you want to watch a game, but come early because there are not many tables (about 25). The wings are my favorite. I always get the lime chile. My boyfriend loves the Philly steak sandwich. The cheese balls and garlic fries are also a must. I would suggest parking in the Nordstrom rack parking since it's free for two hours with no validation. It is only a half block walk from Alondra's. This place is better than Buffalo Wild Wings and not as loud. Defiantly try them. You don't want to miss out.

  • Michelle B.

Placed a to go order for wings. Wing prices have gone up almost $40 for 30 wings really. The service has started to get worse here. Gotta find a new wing spot. Street parking or there is a lot on 3rd that provides 2 hrs free parking. Have tried the burger which were ok

I would rate 1 star, but the servers were nice so I'll race it to 2. My partner and I stopped in yesterday for our first time here, he loves the Paramount location and was happy to try this one in our neighborhood. We were sat down and asked 3 times by 3 different servers what we would like to drink, we then had a bit of a wait to get them. We watched three tables get seated after us... All three of those tables got their drinks and food before us. We got served a half order of cheese balls which were cold. Afterwards our pizza was brought up and the crust was soft and doughy. We waited long for our spicy fries and they were steamy hot but not tasting like it was cooked. When I asked for a fork they told me all the forks were in the dishwasher but they were able to get me a plastic one (that was cool). Though we kept getting apologies from the staff for the long wait times, we were even asked by a manager of he could get anything for us, when my partner asked for a refill for his diet coke he was told that the fountain drinks were down so we then waited for waters. The fact that we waited so long for the food and the quality was bad, we asked to speak with a manager. It took him a while to come out to speak with us, by that time we were done with waiting and just wanted to leave. I paid for the meal and we left with more than half of the food in togo containers. I'm sure the problems I had here were not common, because of the long wait times and food quality I had a bad experience. Servers kept coming up to the table and apologizing for the long wait. Maybe someday I'll give this location another try, until then I will continue to promote drive to the Paramount location.

came here by myself one day, and enjoyed my fried twinkie, buffalo ranch fries, coca cola and a burger. I walked out content , full, and happy. customer service (when by yourself) somehow they become more attentive. I'm NOT a Yelp Alondra Wing FAN but I'll give it 4stars for my experience :)

Alondra Hot Wings is by far the best in town. If you want a mouth watering experience definitely come here. The waitresses are amazing and full of energy. They seemed to be very involved with their customers. This placed is well organized and family friendly.

There's a sign that says please wait to be seated. After waiting 10 mins and watching the busboy stare laugh smile and point at us I was super frustrated. Wings are ok. Food is pretty good. Waitresses are rude our waitress had very unprofessionally long pink and yellow nails. She burped at our table while taking our order and the tray that brought our drinks was full of spilled beer. (We ordered water). Nt what I was expecting I have been to alondra hot wings in another location that was nicer this location has terrible service. Not coming back.

I love me some Alondra Hot wings. I don't know what it is about the original Alondra in Paramount...but I always prefer that Alondra location. Given that I didn't want to wait an hour and a half, we decided to head to the location in long beach. The place is like a sauna and the service is friendly BUT VERY slow!! Don't expect to get a fast meal here. I always say stick to the best...and the wings are the best menu item here. There is a reason they call this place Alondra Hot Wings. The pizza is meh...like any other pizza...but the lemon pepper wings are great!!!

Came to alondras hot wings for the first time after hearing about it for so long. Being a huge wings fan myself, I came in with the idea that they would have delicious wings. I ordered a sampler platter, and some wings. I was very disappointed with the wings here, they claim to have the "best wings in town" little do they know that the actual best wings in town are really just down the street "wing stop" I couldn't tell the difference between the regular hot wings and the chili with lemon wings, in addition the wings were cold and the vegetables were stale. Positive: The burger "big apple" is actually not bad, and the sampler platter was good (except the onions rings) Service: service is average. Will I come here again? Maybe, but definitely not my first choice for wings.

    (3)
  • Sol C.

Not impressed with the high reviews. The wings are tiny. For orders of 12-24, you're allowed only 2 flavors. I asked if I could get a third flavor even if I paid extra. They said no and explained management is strict on flavor restrictions. It says a lot about the establishment when the fried cheese balls appetizer is better than the wings. Also their wings flavor list does not have garlic parmesan which should be a must have flavor. They have Thai chili flavor wings, so why not have garlic parmesan???

  • Muhammad H.

First off...my rule is customer service is greater than food. And the customer service was really good. They knew that someone in our party had a less enjoyable experience previously and went out of there way to make sure we were happy. On top of that the food came out in a timely fashion with no issues. The one thing I would complain about is that that the appetizer and entrees came out together. It's called an appetizer for a reason. Other then that I enjoyed the place overall.

With a sign in the front window boasting that they have the best wings in town, you'd think that they'd fight tooth and nail to defend that claim. False Advertisement at it's finest is what I experienced. I came in yesterday and ordered a 12 piece of Cajun and Spicy BBQ plus a Grand Central Burger. The wings were fried to hell. Tasted like old fried fish or stale burned chicken. I can't really pinpoint the flavor, but I'm sure you know what I mean. The Grand Central saved the meal though. It was half Burger and half Pastrami sandwich. The Burger was very good and pretty big. It came with a side of fries that were also pretty good. I'm giving this place 2 stars because the anticipation of the best wings in town was met with much disappointment, but was saved by the Burger. If you plan on coming here, don't come for the wings. Hate to say it, but I'd suggest BWW for wings over this place.

Went here for lunch with a coworker. From the moment we sat down we told be waitress we were on our lunch break. She nodded as if she understood. Our order was placed and everything was fine. Shortly after receiving our appetizer, I received my food. My coworker did not. We immediately asked the waitress if her food was coming. The waitress gave us a blank stare and walked away. Another waitress came up and asked us if everything was ok. We told her we were waiting on her food. She just stated ok and walked away. Same thing happened with manager and our waitress. After waiting for nearly 30 minutes we asked for manager and explained to her that time had passed and still no wings. Manager said she would speak to waitress about problem. Didn't apologize. Waitress came back and didn't apologize either. We asked for check and had to walk to cash registers ourselves to pay for check. Waitress asked if we would like a soda to go. We declined. I've been a waitress before and know this is unacceptable. The waitress obviously forgot to place the order and didn't own up to her mistake. Everyone (including management) handled the situation poorly. Food is great but service is horrible. Go there if you have three hours of time.

16" Gotti pizza cheese was watery and dough was thin like hot soft "wonderbread" all the toppings slid right off when trying to eat it! Stick to wings.

They have the best cheese balls I've ever tasted!!!! And they offer 10 percent off any order which is always a great to receive a discount.

My experience with Alondra Hot Wings began wrong. I had a bad to go experience at the Alhambra location, which entitled me to a gift card because the manager doesn't have the authority to refund my money. I decided to go to a different location to use the card. Hoping for a better encounter. This being my actual first time eating there I had reviewed the menu online and determined I wanted the Butterflied shrimp salad. I get to the long beach location only to find out they don't have that on the menu. I order the Southwest chicken salad instead. The salad was okay, until I had eating about 80% of it to discover a hair in my bowl. I was so disgusted. I tell the waitress and she gets the manager. The manager comes over 10 minutes later. I show what was in my food. Instead of her apologizing and canceling the salad, she says to me "so what do you want?" Wth! She gives me 19 b percent off my order. Typically if something like this happens I would call someone above her. After having a second horrible experience with them I didn't waste the energy. The customer service lacks luster for me. They take too long to not even have a full house. Needless to say I will never return.

The wings were delish! I tried the Cajun wings and the wings were crispy and a good size, the Cajun flavor was on point. Tried the pizza also and it was also delish! The crust to the sauce, good!

We were about to leave a tip until we realized that they automatically tack on 20% gratuity for groups of four, sure, there is an automatic gratuity for groups of 8 or even 6 but 20% for four? That's not the only reason why we were shocked. It was because we were not very satisfied with the service. As for food, we ordered the chicken wings, when we received this, the wings were literally all fried dough and no meat. The spicy chicken sandwich was very plain. Although the chocolate cake looks moist both in pictures and in person but when you dig into it, it was average, it was a little dry. If you do want to try a spicy wing challenge though, you can do it at this place. They let me try a little bit of the sauce on a toothpick and it was pretty spicy, I can't imagine wings being smothered in it. This would be a good food challenge for those who seek it.

Came here on a limb when going to sprint in Long Beach. We got normal hot wings and salad. Both good. I would suggest them getting filtered water. Even charge 50. Cents for it. People will pay. Long Beach tap water taste gross & is probably bad for you.. Not bad on prices. Maria a cool waitress. Would come back :)

My wife and I stopped in for lunch today to get some hot wings. To our surprise they had a full menu of burgers, sandwiches, pastas, pizza and wings. So we both had burgers instead. The Big Apple and the Mulberry mushroom burgers are what we ordered and I have to say they were pretty good! A bit pricey at $12.75 but the fries are really good. The patties are kinda small but they had quality ingredients. Will try the wings next time.

Our experience here was pretty decent, but not mind-blowing. Honey BBQ: stay with me here, this is gonna sound a little weird, but the flavor of the honey bbq sauce tastes like potting soil. Just to make sure I wasn't crazy, I had my BF verify. Indeed. Sweet, sticky bbq sauce... with a potting soil essence. Literally tasted like dirt. Hot: Basic Frank's Red Hot. Pretty good though. Cajun: This was most disappointing. It was just a dry rub sprinkled on top of plain wings. The seasoning didn't stick at all and just fell off the wings, leaving them pretty flavorless. Fiesta: Basically Frank's red hot, with more of a peppery bite. Boring. They also serve them with sliced onions and bell peppers. The wings themselves were good: crispy skin, moist meat. The cheese balls were tasty, but a little raw-dough-y in the middle, but the flavor of the bread was delicious. The marinara was tasty too: not to sweet, not overly-seasoned. Our waitress was really nice and attentive, refilled our drinks and checked up on us a lot. Loved the customer service! For 2 orders of 12 wings, 1 order of 6 cheese balls, and 1 iced tea, our total was $26. Not bad. We'll probably be coming back, to try more flavors, or to try their pizza.

I love their lunch specials with the FREE DRINK and FREE FRIED TWINKLES. You do need to be on their mailing list to be in the know! Love A.H.W.'s....awesome food, service and desserts. Any fried is good! LOL! There's an issue with finding parking in Downtown LBC though.

Food was great, as usual....BUT service is horrible. This is the second time i come to this location. I thought I'd give it another shot, but once again....they failed! Started off good. We were seated in 5 minutes, which was fast because it was a Saturday night. They brought out our pizza first, before our wings and cheese balls. We were also not given silverware. We asked the manager for some and he never brought em out. Then, we asked our server and she came back saying that they only had ONE clean silverware available!!!!! We said ok....that we'd wait....yet she never returned to bring us all silverware. we had to get our own parmesan cheese & red pepper from a table next to us. The mens restroom was closed so everyone was using the womens. Managers are very friendly, but need to work on training better employees.

Their Wings and Pizza are awesome. The Chile Lime wings are my Fav. I went last week and I noticed all of the Mob decor had been removed :-( lol I liked that decor but as long as they didn't change the food, I'll be ok :-)

If you want bomb wings and great customer service then don't come here. I should have listened to my fellow Yelpers on this one. The wings here are mediocre. I'd rather go to Buffalo Wild Wings. The service at BWW sucks too but at least the wings are tasty. Alondra Hot Wings is small and quite cramped. There was a wait to be seated inside so we opted for the patio which was a mistake. We felt isolated and forgotten. I asked for hand wipes so I could get the wing sauce out from under my nails and I never got them. The waitress dropped the bill off at our table and then disappeared. Total ninja status. She was there and then suddenly she wasn't. There are multiple flat screens inside but they were all tuned to Mexican soccer. Variety is the spice of life. Just saying. We ordered 25 wings. Chili lime and Thai chili. Apparently, they charge you 50 cents to split the flavors which is whack. And, you only get 2 choices which is even more whack. We also tried the ranch drenched french fries. Those were alright except the bottom portion which was a soggy mess. Our entire meal came to approx $30. There are too many good places to eat in LB. We won't be back.

Where to begin... Oh man if you have read any other of my reviews u know I'm a wing man till death do us part so I take them very seriously. Alondra has some amazing chicken an amazing sauces but there are flaws. They don't have boneless which Is a preference thing, ( I wish they had boneless ) but there regular wings make up for not having boneless. They really are excellent the hottest sauce you can get is very hot and the regular hot is on point but the other sauces make this spot what it is. I'm not gonna go threw them all but I get spicy bbq, spicy honey bbq, Thai, and hot, among others and they are unique and just lip smacking bend over please good. One nnthing they need to fix are their soups, I love soup and chili and there's is just not good, the clam chowder I would say is bad and I I hate to say that but it's not hard to do right and they sure don't. Anyway the vibe is great you surrounded by pictures of mafia bosses on the wall which I never understood why but that was cool to look at. To put the cheery on top the staff has very warm and know what there doing but please...Get rid of that pizza stuff is SCHWAGGG. One love keep smoking, token, and um eating.

BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!! wont be back to this location. I ordered pasta and wings. The pasta was good. But my lemon pepper wings tasted fishy and my lime chili were cold. So I sent them back and when I get the bill they wanted to charge me for them because that is their "protocol". I've never heard anything like that. I ate 3 wings and she was arguing that I ate most of them. And to top it off there credit/debit card machine went down. Luckily I had cash. I loved alondra wings. My waitress taisha was very nice but her manager felt my situation was a joke. Her employees were more professional then her.

The wings are pretty good and you get many. The sweet/hot bbq is very good. The spicy garlic and hot are also good. Also a big fan of lemon garlic. The garlic cheeseballs you must get. They're bread filled with cheese with garlic butter on them and marinara dipping sauce Service is quality too, everyone pretty nice. It's a nice wing place, I always go with friends to get a big platter of wings and watch sports. Never had the pizza there but it looks good. However the wings are pretty good, love the place.

If there were such thing as no stars that's what this place deserved the hot wings were DISGUSTING!! They were extremely over cooked in what tasted like old cooking oil with the seasoning splattered on top. The only thing that tasted remotely decent were the fries. And they have the nerve to be expensive $15 down the drain on the toxic waste they call wings here! You have been warned you might as well go to Buffalo Wild Wings at least there you know the wings taste good...

This is a great place to come with a bunch of friends, grab a platter of wings, and just chill and enjoy the game. The restaurant is decorated with posters of old school mafia members and newspaper clippings with their back in the day "achievements". I always come here for the wings. DUH! Not a big fan of the pizza. I'm lactose intolerant and the pizza is made a little backwards here. They have it set up dough-cheese-sauce rather than dough-sauce-cheese. My friends say that the appetizers there are quite delicious though. I wouldn't know because a lot of the appi's are stuffed with cheese. Among the vast selection of flavors offered at Alondra's, my favorite flavors are the Thai Chile, the Spicy Honey BBQ, and the notorious Atomic Wings. The Atomic Wings are a bit of a specialty at Alondra Hot Wings. Ordering them is sort of a pseudo-food challenge that my friends and I have everytime we go. We can usually handle our spices, but the Atomic Wings are a completely different beast. You even have to sign a waiver when you go there! It's pretty intense! This place is a definite recommend in my book. Take your friends, they'll be impressed.

So I'm interested in placing a phone order to walk down to Alondra Hot Wings to pick up.....BUT NO ONE IS ANSWERING THE PHONE!! I have been calling for the last ten minutes. Someone can't answer and at least say "please hold"?! I called the Paramount location twice to ask if Long Beach was even open still and instantly was told "it's Grand Prix weekend, they're busy"!! Honestly, that's not excuse! Poor customer service. At least the Paramount manager suggested driving to his location in Paramount for food.

Cheese balls! Mozzarella wrapped in fried pizza dough coated in garlic butter sauce with a side of marinara for dipping? It's so good! Their wings are great. They are perfectly crispy and coated in sauce. Their hot wing sauce is perfect. I don't typically get other sauces. I got the bbq sauce once and didn't like it. I love their pizza too. The crust is tasty and chewy. They have good combinations of toppings on their menu so we normally order one of their creations. There is also free city parking just down the street in the structor (2 hours free, no validation needed) ONLY negative is the service sucks. We are always left waiting. Oh and if you have a restaurants.com certificate they act live they've never seen one before and take even longer with your bill. (I still go there tho, and I still bring my coupons!!)

The food here is terrible. The "infamous" atomic wings are disgusting. I am all for spicy food and taking the heat to the next level but the atomic is not even enjoyable. The service was pleasant. I would NEVER come back here.

I've been to this place about 5 or 6 times now and I do enjoy it for the most part. The wings are good and they have a nice selection of sauces to toss them in. The garlic fries are very tasty as well Down sides to this establishment: the service can be spotty. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it isn't. Just all around inconsistent They close at "11pm" during the week and if you want to get service you'd better get there at 10 because they are going to close the kitchen at 10:30. Complete BS. It's never happened to me but I have seen them turn lots of customers away because they closed the kitchen well before the restaurant's actual closing time. That's not how you do business and if I were one of those patrons I would never come back. They are also a bit expensive. $17.99 for 12 piece wings and Garlic fries. Overall the food is enjoyable but they need to work on a few things

Mmmmm...Alondra's. My gf and I heard about this place in The District. The District was a magazine for locals of Long Beach. It's a shame they stopped printing it. Back to the subject, the first time we went, it was about 3 years ago. What I love about the place besides the food is the decor. I love the photos and bios of famous & ruthless gangsters that are all over the walls, and with Frank Sinatra playing in the back, pretty awesome. Every time I go to Alondra's, I am always greeted by a friendly staff. I always have trouble deciding on what to order, so many delicious choices. My recommendations: - Cheese Balls - Ranch Blasted Fries - Mobbed Sampler - Buffalo Strip Salad - Shrimp Caesar Salad - Brooklyn Burger(MUST!) - Sausage & Peppers Sandwich - Boston Pastrami - This Thing Of Ours(Buffalo Chicken & Ranch Pizza) Enjoy!

In the area and looking for a bite to eat we stopped in here because I was in the mood for wings .... Seemed like a friendly environment .... Service was pretty good ... I don't remember our waiters name, but he was friendly and efficient. The pizza looked good but I ordered the pasta with chicken and my boyfriend ordered the wings ....the pasta was definitely overcooked and mushy and I was underwhelmed by the wings for an establishment that was known for their wings? Im confused. Next time I am in LB, I don't think this is where we will be eating.

I wish I got a chance to sample and review the food hear but that never happened because of the service. And for service I give them 1 star. I came here on a lunch break. The place is pretty small and it had that yucky beer smell you can find in a dive bar. Anyway, the menu was pretty extensive so I asked the waitress to come back. And she never did after bringing me my iced tea. She took other orders, brought the table next to mine their order, but never came back to get mine. I sat there for like 20 minutes waiting. Finally I had to go back to work so I went up to the bar and told the waitress I needed to leave. She apologized matter-of-factly and still charged me for the iced tea. Good for her, I will not be back.

This is a rock solid wing joint. You cannot beat the value with the restaurant.com coupon. You will not have any trouble using it here. The hot bbq wings are my favorite. I also appreciate the opportunity to order all drums. On a 1-10 scale the wings, I would rate the wings a solid 7.5. My son loves the pizza here. The dough tastes fresh and the meats are authentic. You will not leave hungry. Beer and soda prices are high here. I know I'm a cheapskate, but $3.00 sodas is not my thing. So if you want to keep it cheap, enjoy the water. The service here can also be a little spotty, I don't think I've ever had the same server twice. Parking is also tough in downtown Long Beach.

What has about 10 tables, 2 waitress, one host, and a lost manager? this place! 10-15 minutes into sitting down we got to order our drinks, 7 minutes later we get our drinks; yet the other tables that came after us had food already. 35 minutes into us sitting down we get an order placed in. You thought finally? nope I decided to leave this place because apparently people walk in to eat at a restaurant already full and lots of time in their schedule. *Note:This has nothing to do with me being served beer, and me being a vampire and all gets carded and of course forgot it in the parking lot; so I get my beer taken away... I notified the manager and all she did was say, "I'm sorry desirae is new blah blah blah... the only thing placed in was a soft drink for my wife and we get that for free? geez! thanks! I forbid anybody for eating at this unestablishment. you figure with such poor reviews they d do something about the service but I guess not. I guess I have to wonder in life how their wings taste like but I guess it will be longer maybe an hour wait for wings here in the near future. DO NOT EAT HERE....I went to Johnny Rockets and I'm sure from the reviews theyre better than this place... and I got to eat at Johnny Rockets with 2 girls on the floor with more people in that restaurant. Thank You Johnny! as an for Alondra... shut your doors and let another wing spot take your place...you guys suck!

First off all i went to the paramount location and was kinda disappointed of the wait there, so i get a chance here at this location, and with high expectations. I order 50 pieces of chicken wings in three different flavors 1) cajun 2) maple syrup 3) honey bbq. They do have variety of flavors to choose from and variety of dips for added flavor. Even you can go bonkers placing an order of their atomic wings! which you may need to sign a waiver form before ordering this hot hellfire chicken wings! I would normally order the mightiest hottest food wherever i go, but this time i would have to pass on atomic, because i had work later on and i didn't want an angry stomach getting in the way. For the sides i ordered the ranch blasted fries, which these fries are doused with a blend of buffalo sauce and ranch dressing. I was totally disappointed with the chicken wings, they were dry, and weren't tasty at all, not even the 3 flavors i chose bring out the best of these wings. I question these wings, is it because they are made of tyson brand? i mean you can get tyson brand wings from food 4 less, but the wings weren't breaded at all, huge let down :( The ranch blasted fries could be better, the sauces was overkill on the fries, it was a mix of buffalo sauce and ranch dressing, which wasn't too bad, but it overdid the fries and you could see that there is a pool of sauce on the bottom of the pan, it's made that way, maybe it would be best to just have sauces as dips rather than being doused on. Overall, Alondra Hot Wings needs to make better wings, they have the flavor talent but it's all about the meat. I'll still stick with Wingstop in Cerritos.

My daughter has gone to this place since 4th grade and now she's 15 years old. She was in love with the food and now she says its been disappointing lately. We went today for girl time, we ordered 16 piece hot wings and they were tough (chicken wings tough?)! So we ate left 5 wings asked server were they cooked fresh because they tasted old. At any case they offered us a new plate butwanted to give us 8 after telling us they were still frozen, I still say old but my issue was after coming to the conclusion that the meat want write weather we ate most or not there was something wrong ~ comp us or replace them. I didn't want anymore...I'm done, I just thought it was odd way to handle it. They then gave us 16 pieces. Alondra please bring back that same quality as when she was a little girl.

Best wings we have had! Ordered the cajun and seasoned wings which are dry but then ordered a couple of sauces on the side. Wings were hot and crispy and delicious and you can put just a little sauce on them to make them perfect. Wish we were in town longer!

Had such a terrible experience here and will not be back. The service was so bad--husband and I were ignored by servers and manager. Took our server forever to take our order and we waited 45 minutes for our food. I would assume at that point that the wings better be pretty damn good if I had to wait that long but nope. They were dry, hard, overcooked, and flavorless. Garlic fries were soggy. Had to hunt down someone for napkins. At a wings place. Really??

This is my all time favorite place to go and eat. I LOVE the honey BBQ and the Lemon pepper wings. This place is generally crowded because apparently the rest of the world is feeling the same way I do. I love it. I have time and time again spent 12 out of my last $25 to eat a 6 piece wing and fries meal. The only thing I DON'T like is that companies charge extra for a small container of ranch. Sometimes if you are lucky they may or may not, but its not their fault its corporatism. :) Don't go through life without going here. Please don't.. you will regret it. P.S. If I could give it a 10 star I would.

My husband and I order take out from here weekly... They consistently have great hot wings and the servers are generally super friendly and helpful. The only reason I wouldn't give them 5 stars is sometimes their garlic fries are a soggy mess.. But when they are crispy, they're amazing! I rarely eat here on the weekend nights though, they are always PACKED!

Whoever created this menu was fat like me. Deep fried Twinkies??! Chili cheese pasta?? I really wanted to try the Chili in a bread bowl and the Pizza that was like a hot Pastrami sandwich. The pictures were making my mouth water. Thank goodness this is a block from my house so I can go back and try everything. I only wish they had a full bar. They serve beer and wine only. I got the mob sampler and I got full just on that alone. It was very tasty. I am definately going back.

I heard about Alondra from a friend that said they had THE best wings. Needless to say, I am no longer friends with said person......This is not a place you want to go for hot wings. The environment was decent, it has plenty of TVs and a ton of other choices on the menu but wings is what we were after and wings is what we ordered. They had a plethora of sauces to choose from but we ended up with hot and chili lime (just to try something different from the regular hot). First off....the prices are WAY too high for frozen wings, fried and sauce thrown on top. The chicken wings seemed more like pigeon wings, they were soo anemic (unless you count the pigeons in Downtown LA, those are like Popeye's chickens). The sauce was ok but not great, the wings were too hard from being fried frozen wings with no moisture and the money I paid for parking (you have to park in a lot), the food and in gas was enough to make me sick. I will say, though, the nachos were off the hook! I MAY come to enjoy something else off the menu but they should not have wings in their restaurant name... If you want wings head to Dominos, KFC, Hooters, Wing Stop, Wing Street or Downtown LA street corners but avoid the wings here.

If I could give this place 80 billion stars, I would. I've been going to this restaurant as much as possible for the past 2 years. I've never had anything here that I didn't like. A few recommendations for you newbies are: Cheese balls, deep fried twinkie, the "this thing of ours" pizza (buffalo chicken, ranch and cheeeeeeese!), the brooklyn burger, and the wings obviously. But I must say, I have had better wings. The manager, Mike, is really laid back and cool. Everytime we go in there, and there is a wait, we're seated super quick. He's super welcoming and always asks how we are. But, besides Mike being dope, the waitresses have been getting worse, but at least the food is still great, right? Any who, I cannot recommend this place any more than I already have. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! And if you don't like this place, you're an idiot. Enjoy!

Great Customer service , the waitress who helped us out was a young women named Maria I think & she was very friendly ,she talked to is like if we were her friends & I really loved how the food had so much flavor ,the wings were amazing ,I'm sure to come again VERY SOON

Although the workers were friendly, I had to wait a long time to get my food. It was also pricey considering that they only gave me a couple of wings. The food was good, however i am convinced that i could've received better food for a lower price somewhere else. The location is nice and the inside of Alondra Hot wings is cozy.

Mediocrity at its best. The fries look like the stubby reminiscence at the bottom of the bag. The wings are only ok. Wing stop is better. The cheese balls are not bad if you can get them warm. All in all not great. The waiter told me they were revising the menu. I don't think I'll be back to find out.

So I may have ordered the wrong thing but I was not impressed. I got a marinara pasta with meat balls, they said they were out of meatballs so I had a choice of chicken or shrimp. I got shrimp. I have not ever seen such over cooked shrimp, it was too hard to get a fork in, I think I could have bounced it down the street. Also there was barely any sauce and my bread was burnt on the bottom and hard. They made me a new one with chicken but still, hardly any sauce and the chicken seemed boiled. I ordered an extra side of sauce and after that it was okay. Saving Grace: They fixed my problem quickly and they were nice about it, so that counts for something. My bf got chicken strips that were very good and the food every one else had looked good so maybe just steer clear of the pasta dishes, stick with the wings and other items that are fool proof.

As a native Western New Yorker I am a bit of a wing snob and these are the best wings I have found on the West Coast! I always visit Alondra ' s when I am in Long Beach! I can't really speak to the other items because all I usually get are wings but they always looks good passing when passing by the table. The service is average to a little slow but other than that a great restaurant!

Came here to just buy some time before happy hour at Congregation. This place was pretty small but most of the shops and restaurants in downtown Long Beach are pretty small. I had the Mulberry Street Burger, which was really good. I got mine Medium, I usually get Medium Rare but for some reason went Medium and it was really delicious. The burger comes with Seasoned Angus beef patty piled high with sauteed mushrooms, provolone cheese, fresh romaine lettuce, tomato, red onions, and dressed in their house specialty southwest dressing. The fries were on point as well. I usually wash down my burger with a beer and the selection on tap is nothing compared to Congregation, but they did have one of my favorite, which is Fat Tire on tap. Its' funny that I didn't even try the wings yet I wasn't' feeling wings at the time. Go check it out and get my burger, get extra mushrooms if you can.

I've always been a fan of Alondras. This place is in a perfect spot, located in downtown long beach, it just fits right in. The service has gotten extremely better than I last remember and the food is stask super tasty. Their wings are the best I've ever had in my life, all their selection of wings are great except the atomic wings, those are murder on a plate.... HOT!! Overall I'm happy with this place. Two thumbs up.!

Best Lime Chile wings ever!! The pizzas and french fries here are pretty good too.

Been here about 3-4 times already. This review is just for the food only. The service kind of lacks, but the food makes up for it. The food does take awhile to come out though! I usually get the 2 flavor wing plate, mmm lemon pepper! I also order pizza there. The crust is fluffy even though the pizza is thinner. I've also tried the cheeseballs. The garlic fries were too over fried though, so we're going to pass on that next time. Do get the strawberry sprite! :) It tastes great with pizza.

Just happened to come here again after a couple days of yelping, GREAT cutomer service. Decided to try out the pizza this time around, ordered "This thing of ours", it was just off the hook!! Also went with some Wings (a must try if you come here. Once again, great service + delicious food + awesome price = a very happy customer!!!

Similar to BJ's -- but I prefer Alondra's food. Much of their menu's theme and restaurant decor reflects the New York gangster/mobster lifestyle. Also has a sports bar feel. The menu is pretty extensive, and there is a variety to choose from (salads, soups, appetizers, pizza, burgers, pastas, Philly cheesesteaks, and other grilled items). Prices and portions are reasonable. Service was so-so. Located in the heart of downtown LB so be aware of style of parking down there. One of those places you know you'll return to because you want to try different things on the menu!!

BEST HOT WINGS, Damn right! These were so good I have not been able to find good chicken wings in town besides the big chains like Wing Stop or Bdubs but Alondras Hot Wings are on point. They have a lot of different flavors too! We ordered the 25 piece which were only like $15 good deal. We ordered them with two different flavors, original hot and Chili lime. They were both so good. Also ordered the cheese balls, very tasty with marinara sauce and fried zucchini, BOMB! I really enjoyed the chili lime never ever tried any other hot wings with lime flavor and these are amazing. The original hot were very tasty as well. Not as spicy as i like them but still really good flavor. Next time we stop in we're going to have to try the extra hot! :) So we finish the dinner off with a fried twinki which i had never ever tried so i had to try a bite and i must say mmmmmh!

I have come to this place many times and have ordered quite a few things from here. I went on a Tuesday night not busy when I walked in the cashier took my order and then came back about 5 minutes later to tell me they were out of meatballs for the spaghetti. So the manager came over and told me they were updating the menu and apologized. So I ended up ordering shrimp fettuccine took it home only to be disappointed in the taste which was very bland and the shrimp were all overcooked. If this is how they continue to do things I may not come here ever again.

This place is alright. I got the honey bbq and terriyaki wings. One thing I didn't like is when they brought out the wings they didn't tell me which is which. Not a big deal or anything but at other wing places they usually tell which flavor is which. The meet on the wings were a bit dry and there was alot of sauce. I also ordered the snickers doughball. In my opinion there was way too much dough and not enough snickers. Not somewhere I would come back to but it was decent.

Ok the food is good here service was great till the end ... My friend and I went to eat here one night we both had a bank card to pay for our own things because the waitress told us we couldn't do separate bills WHY I DONT KNOW but whatever bill came we handed her two cards I told her put and even 20 bucks on mine and the rest on the other card... How sad. Really good food, but no service. Not bad service, NO SERVICE. I had to get our silverware, I had to get our refills, I had to get up from my seat and get mustard that the cook left off a Pastrami sandwich! We watched a table of well-dressed executive-types walk out after having waited for 45 minutes. Thanks for the good food, but we won't ever come back. 'Loved how the waiters seemed irritated when we asked for things. Get a different job if you so dislike restaurant work. Sheesh...

Wings on Pine We were driving through downtown Long Beach to see what we can grub on before heading to the Aquarium of the Pacific. In a starving rage I said, "Alright, we can do that," when my husband pointed out Alondra's. We found a two buck parking spot around the corner and made our way into the mobster themed joint. Highlights & Low-lights: *Walked in right @ opening and were faintly greeted by the staff (I think they weren't technically open just yet) *Clean & cool looking set up with the whole mob theme played up on the walls *Took a few minutes for us to get service...slowly but surely we got what we needed *Remember to take a good look at the fine print because there are split fees *Good array of eats to choose from: pizza, sandwiches, wings, etc. *Food order: Fried pickles & 12 lemon pepper wings w/a side of chili lemon sauce, blue cheese, & their famous ranch *They used pickle chips for their pickle fry & it wasn't as good as it sounded (we like the fried pickle spears from Lucille's x1000 better) *Their wings are truly yummy but thank goodness we asked for the sauce on the side; blue cheese & ranch were alright I don't think we'll ever go back to this place to dine-in because the service & food wasn't much to our liking. If anything we might just get some wings to go if we're partying in the area.

I was here during the Long Beach Grand Prix and all I can say is.... OMG. Just be warned that if you're calorie conscious, avoid coming here because you'll gain weight just by thinking about this place. Now that that's out of the way, there's so many tasty things here! You can come back over and over and try different things and it'll be good. Deep Fried Twinkies... I'm still recovering from those. Great place to hang out with friends.

was looking for a replacement for the crappy wing stop. this place looked interesting from the outside. we had a csulb student fundraiser here but i didn't get a chance to try the wings. too busy socializing. it was decent. not too spicy not that flavorful. it was good enuff of spicy to make me happy to eat some hot wings but not dying the next day. enjoy and get ur hot wings grub on. still looking for a wings place.

I don't like getting my fingers all sticky so I prefer the lemon pepper wings over the other sauces. It's a lil salty but it can be easily dusted off. I've tried their burgers, sandwiches, chicken strips, and other items on the menu and nothing beats the wings. Wings, wings, all the way! :)

I had purchased a restaurant.com certificate b/c it's near our home and I LOVE hot wings and pizza. What an AWESOME place this is! Beers were ice cold, cheese balls were amazing, buffalo wings were fantastic, the meatballs and pasta delicious and the pizza was out of this world! The place is VERY clean and our server Le'Onita was one of the most attentive servers I have ever had. Give'em a try, you'll be glad you did!

Clarification. Rating : 3.5 Stars I have no major gripe here with the food. The lemon pepper wings rival those at Wing Stop, no doubt. Very delicious. The chile lime wings are marginally better than Costco's Wings of Fire frozen bagged wings. We probably should've gone with another flavor. Yes, they've got this mob theme going on here. We got a pizza with half Gabagool (Hawaiian) and half Gotti (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and olives) and it didn't disappoint. I wish the crust was a little more well done, but the toppings saved an otherwise middle-of-the-road pizza crust. What irked me here was the service. It took almost 10 minutes for the waitress to come to our table to take our order after we got our drinks from the hostess. The food took another 20 minutes to come out. Mind you, the place was barely half full, being 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. We also ordered a salad, but it never arrived. Granted the waitress later half-heartedly said she would comp it and let us take it home, but the damage had already been done and we said to forget it. To make things worse, we tried to get her attention a couple times after she dropped off the food to try to get some silverware and some blue cheese dressing, but she didn't seem interested in giving us any attention. She seemed perfectly happy serving the other diners and checking up on them to make sure they were ok. The only time she gave us a status check was when she asked if we needed a box and to give us the bill after we were obviously done with our meal. To top it all off, she took her sweet time picking up and taking care of the bill. A little shady, if you ask me. Ok, so maybe we got the short end of the stick with our server. I'd come back here again to give it a try with somebody else, but I'm out the door if I see her in there again.

Best wings I've ever had! Thai chili is my favorite. Pizza is real good too. This place can get packed, especially if it's Sunday and it's football season, so be ready to wait, or else get there really early. Cheese balls are really good, And you gotta have a fried twinkie!

  • Kristy N.

FOOD: The wings here are not AMAZING, but the reason my friends and i were attracted to this place was because of their known to be, daring most hottest wings around. And indeed, they were. I only licked it and i was dieing!! a few of my friends could only finish three wings. You have to sign a waiver before ordering the hottest wings, because they dont want to be reliable for anything. I did try their pizza and i would have to say it is just okay. Their dessert menu was not much appealing. Although, i tried the fried twinkee (fat death) and it was really good actually ahahaha. VENUE: small, Yeah, small... The theme i suppose was interesting, with these pictures and history on.. mafias? PARKING: There is a parking structer near by, which is FREE if validated.

Holy Cheese Balls batman!!! I've been known to eat a wing or two, however my lady isnt wing crazy like me so it was important for me to find a joint that offers both delicious wings for myself and something else for my non-winger friends and family. Alondra does wings right, plus they have a decent selection of sandwiches, salads and delicious pizza. MUST TRY: - cheese balls dipped in their dill ranch MMmmm! - dessert balls, dont ask whats in them...just eat it! - godfather pizza, so much meat. delicious meat. - get the season'd wings (plain) and ask for maple syrup and dip. (You can thank me later) If you asked me 6 months ago, I would have told you that Alondra's wings were my favorite of all time. I guess I'm pretty over the flavors they have. If they could incorporate a garlic / parm wing like they have at Wing Stop, this place would be unstoppable. I'm not sure what all the mobster decor is all about, nor am I crazy about sports on the tv, but hey, I can deal for delicious food.

My family and I visited Alondras this past weekend and I was impressed! The restaurant itself was very clean, and had an inviting atmosphere. We ordered 'The Don' pizza (which was amazing), and then we had some Buffalo wings that were pretty darn good as well!...I'm a huge fan of wings, so i can't stand it when wings are prepared with an extra thick coating of bread/fat- but these wings were all meat, with just the right amount of crispy-ness...just how i like it !!! The menu was quite extensive, so I'm looking forward to going back and trying some of their other items :) .....except for the fried twinkies. I'll leave that to you dare devils out there :)

LBC Nucka! Headed out to the LBC with a friend this evening seeing as my other plans fell through, again. Anyways... we decided to hit this little place before going to a bar. Needed to get some food on the stomach first and noticed we were on Pine St anyways so wings it was. Atmosphere? Not bad. Simple and not a ton of seating, but what has a lot of seating on this strip? Staff was cool and quick in dealing with our order. Place offers outdoor seating if that's you thing and also has a VERY small bar. More like a 2 person sit down for a beer stool area....but it gets the job done. Wing are good here. Not the best I have ever had but not expensive either. It's really a chill little spot to have a couple beers, wings, and a chat. It gets 3.5 stars for being clean, quick, having Hef on tap and lots of TVs on the walls. Cool little joint. Oh and that sign a waiver thing for the hot wings... true... you been warned.

So after hearing great reviews of Alondra's from my friends, I decided I needed to try this place out, and omg they did not disappoint! The portions were good, the prices were reasonable, and the food here really hit the spot. Granted the wings weren't phenomenal (I'd take Buffalo Wild Wings' wings any day), their other food was great! We started off with wings and their cheese balls. The cheese balls were beyond delicious and amazing. From there, I ordered the Philly Steak Sandwich and it was great; the best one I've had on the west coast as a matter of fact. We topped it off with deep-fried twinkies, which were also ridiculously amazing. The service and ambiance is the restaurant were also fantastic. Definitely check out the restaurant.com discount certificates on this place! I am definitely eating here again! Shaun's recommendation: Cheese Balls

A "Chicago" style pizza and wing place who's pizza isn't really "Chicago" style at all, no deep dish, no greasy goodness, none of that! The pizza does however have a pretty good toppings. The other thing that they ranted about were their wings, I got the 12 wings (half honey BBQ and the other half..... ATOMIC! all extra crispy) I was supposed to sign a waiver for ordering the Atomic, but I think they forgot about it so aaaawwayyyy I went! .....nom nom nom......nom nom.......OH MY GOD MY MOUTH IS ON FIRE!!!!!! As I sipped my Dr. Pepper, I couldn't help but think that I had 5 more wings... so I pawned them off to those who were eating with me....(he he he suckers....) One reaction was "My mouth is burning and I just licked my finger!" Another was speachless and a tear. The person across from me had just a quick nibble and "it was more than needed". While the last person decided that "I'm smarter than to take part in your reindeer games"..... (she was the wisest of us all). So to sum up. Sign the waiver before eating ATOMIC wings. 2nd get the pizzas they are a great deal. And lastly when you order drinks get multiple glasses cause the staff isn't the most attentive. Enjoy.

they make you sign the waiver before you ordering their infamous Atomic wings! it was quite an experience. but not something i'd order ever again in my life. lol other than that, their wings were okay, not bad but not great either. their pizza was okay too. i've had better. overall this is just an okay place. a little overpriced if you ask me haha

Yeah, I'm not trusting you guys for reviewing places in Long Beach anymore. Cheese balls were nasty, I don't know if it's supposed to be like this or not but the dough wasn't cooked all the way. How do you screw up fried cheese? really. The pastrami was wayyyy too fatty and disgusting. I was starving and I could only take a few bites without gagging. The fries were soggy and bland. The thing is I wanted incredibly bad for me food. I just wanted it to taste good. Worst $14 I ever spent.

I was there Saturday afternoon. Not too many people so I don't know why the service was bad. We had to get up and ask for a refill on our drinks. Wings didn't seem fresh either. I love the chili-lime wings, but a little disapointed that day.

Pretty Good Food! & Very large variety. First time at this place, got seated as soon as they cleaned off some tables. that was the only glitch. Food was good, service was good. not as big as the one on Alondra but it works. They have wings, soups, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, burgers, fries, calamari, dessert and salads. everything so far, so good. especially like the pizzas & fettucini alfredo. Yumm

Worst place I have ever eaten, The service was absolutely horrid, my boyfriend and I live in Downtown and walked down Pine to find somewhere fun to go for his birthday. We picked this spot and regretted it almost instantly. Our waitress was horribly rude, and seemed irritated when we started asking questions about the food and drinks. While waiting for our order the manager came out and asked if we had a problem, and insinuated that we had thrown something at our waitress... she didn't come back for the rest of the night, when we finally got our food they didn't bring us plates, napkins, or silverware. It was horribly uncomfortable and the worst birthday ever. not to mention that they serve TYSON chicken, which everyone knows is full of extra hormones and is horribly bad for you. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! AND DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM GOING! THERE SERVICE IS HORRID AND FOOD IS BLAH!!!!

When the Folks are gone, the Kids will play. I don't know what it was, but the two lovebird employees fully engaged in High School-like groping on the patio or the two chatty Kathy's behind the counter who needed to finish their gossip before greeting me, didn't sway me from entering. I had the Buffalo Chicken Salad...It was filling. Service was timid and seriously UN-trained [couldn't answer a question with out first reading my menu herself. I thought "are you my server or are we having lunch together?" I'm an upstate NY'er and I recognized the typical wing recipe. It's no big thing. Certainly no secret. The best default Buffalo wing sauce recipe you'll need for minimal success is Franks Redhot and any generic Butter Sauce. Any NY'er who loves wings, knows it already. I gave 'em an extra star for that.

I love this place. Stopped by yesterday, love the new menu's, but there was an error I discovered...They forgot to put in The Zesty Wings.....Good News is they still make it.... Honey BBQ and seasoned is my fav... Don't forget the Pizza is really good and you need a fried tweenkie to finish the Meal.......weekly customer and the Gals are Hot!!!!!!!

There was a month where my BF and I ordered from here once a week. I've tried most of their pizza's and they were all delicious! My favorite thing to order are the honey BBQ wings with a side of garlic fries.... you have to try their garlic fries!! Oh my gooodness!! They use real pieces of garlic, with butter, olive oil, and cheese. So damn tasty! Very good comfort food at this restaurant. Oh and for all you ranch lovers, their ranch is amazingly tasty!

These wings are pretty great. I've been to a few places who claimed to have had the best wings around. Sure, they were decent...but these were great. I tend to go for the traditional hot wings instead of the other flavors, but I've heard good things about those too... I'll definitely be back. Yum!

Wings are good and has a good flavor. We had the honey BBQ hot wings and anything sweet and hot and full of BBQ sauce wins my heart. Wings definitely get 3.5 stars. Also had fries, chilli and a chicken sandwich and it was OK- not the best. Alondra gets the job done if you have a craving some good wings. Rest of the food might need to test it out.

  • Aynge M.

The service is still mediocre. I had to clean off my own table since the bus boy nor the waitress even bothered. Okay, that's fine. I carry my own stash of Wet Wipes everywhere. The service was slow and the floor needed a good sweep and mopping, but the Boston Pastrami was the best I ever had: crisp, light bread, tender tasty pastrami, tons of onions and veggies, and melted stringy cheese.... Y U M M E R S. Seriously. And I used to think Louis Burgers had good pastrami. The fries were good, and the Cherry Coke was awesome. Plus the bathroom was clean.

Well Found the place on here it had some mix reviews. I"llstart the service I been here 4 times or more I've had ok service 1 and Good service the rest I've only ate wings salad and frys I've tried most of the favors I like Thai and Spicy Barbque the best Compared to The Hot Wing Cafe and Hooters I'd go to Alondra as far as price and Food I' falt out like the place I'd recommend the Wings any day 50 wings like 26 bucks cheeper than most wing places and better than Wing Stop my opion And if you have a retauraunt certificate you really get a good deal

Went here for the ""Yes On Prop Ate- Hot Wings & Guacamole Contest" party for Yelp.....and the people were the best part of the evening. I was happy to see those of you who I spoke with! :) Met a couple of others too. The food was....eh...OK. I shared an order of Cheese Balls w/ the table...and I had one. It was good. Had a great garlic flavor...not too greasy...but could have used a different dipping sauce than marinara sauce...which I don't like. Then we ordered a plate of the Honey BBQ Chicken strips (boneless of course) and they were OK. I"m not a fan of the sweet stuff like that (only chocolate and cookies) :) but that's what my sister wanted to order. I had one small piece. I liked the carrot and celery sticks w/ Ranch dressing better than the chicken...but that's just my opinion. The parking....well it's either street parking (bring plenty of quarters for the meters) or a parking garage which can cost you like $5 or $8....luckily for my cheap ass, I know to make sure and bring my ticket so that it can be validated and I won't have to pay to park! YAY! I like the area though...I haven't hung around the Pine area much...so I felt a little more like a local :) Ha! Next time perhaps people will be more down with going to ride the Ferris wheel with me...although I know it was cold...but damn people, you only live once!!!!!

I've been here once and thought their wings are okay. My wife and I came here for lunch and wanted to try this place out. The decor is nice. Nicer than how the previous establishment decorated the place. I think it was a Samurai Sam's (teriyaki joint). We wanted to try their deep fried twinkie (heart attack just waiting to happen). It was okay. Reminded me of a funnel cake actually. Nothing special. Would I come back here? Sure. Why? Because I have a gift card from here. LOL!

Good for wings and "bar food". Wings are reasonable and they have a variety of sauces. Of the two sauces I tried both were waaaay hotter than I expected so next time I'll be going with a Medium level at most. They do take out an are pretty quick getting it ready.

The pizza is good here. Lots of cheese and yummy crust. You can get a 12" for about $13-14 depending on the toppings you want. The theme is the whole Capone/mobster kinda theme. The decor and menu names will automatically let you know it. It's different..it cute. They have their own "homemade" ranch which is really goood! The special ingredient that makes it so different is the added dill. You should definitely try it. They have beer on tap and mixed drinks. This place also has a few flat screens to watch the game. We got strawberry sprite which had real fruit in it. Anyway the pizza is really good here..the service is a lil lacking but I would come back here again.

Let me preface this with, I love the one in Montebello, but the LB one sucks. I made a special trip on Sunday to go with the family, and was told at 8:20 that it was too late to order as they closed at 9, and very rudely(WEBSITE SAID THEY CLOSE AT 11). What? I am not talking 855 like in the movie Waiting, but a full forty minutes before they close. A party of ten had not even ordered drinks yet, and I heard a guy complaining that he was there an hour without food, so I guess it is just as well.

Today, after shopping I had a taste for some hot wings, so I signed in to the trusty Yelp website and read many great reviews for Alondra Hot wings. I will never ever doubt the members of Yelp again!!! I cannot express to you how great their hot wings are, but if you r looking for something different try their Cheese Balls ( my daughter laughed when i called them " the best damn bread balls") they r the greatest. The best! I have never tasted something so mysteriously delicious. I gave them five stars just for the Cheese ball but believe me the wings would have gotten a four 1/2 star all on their own. If you like butter,Parmesan cheese and more cheese wrapped in a wonderful fried bread...please do not hesitate...go now...run...run as fast as you can!!!!!! Oh they also have fried Twinkies, they r great but one is enough even for the biggest junk food junkie. Sounds weird but so does a cheese ball....sometimes weird is a good (great) thing!!!!!! r u still sitting??? Go...Go now..run...run as fast as u can!!!!

Stopped in during the Long Beach Funk Fest. They were busy but had a system going to get (micro)brews & orders to go handled. Service was friendly despite how hectic things were. I found an empty spot at the smallish bar & enjoyed a quick 6 of the hot wings. Crispy crispy, just how I like, and a savory sauce with a decent kick. Next time I'm in the neighborhood I'll check out more of the menu.

One of the best chicken wings in longbeach. Their veggie sticks are always fresh (so far) not like other wing joints. The restaurant looks clean. The workers are nice. Flat screen Tvs everywhere. I love the mobster theme of this place. Goooooood place to eat if your in long beach.

Yum, yum yum. Being from Western NY State, I give these wings the Buffalo Seal of Approval. Some of the other menu items are nice as well, but I wouldn't recommend any of this for someone with a heart condition. I'm a purist, so I ordered the traditional hot wings and they were divine. Also ordered the chili-lime wings on another occasion and they were excellent. Only snag here is that you have to special order Blue Cheese with the wings which is the norm (they come with RANCH! yuck!).

so i must admit, i am disappointed with this joint. the best part of the meal is the ice in the iced tea (you get the tiny little circle chunks like at long john silvers)! i was really looking forward to some good chicken wings... but the wings i received looked like they had been taken from a 3-week dead chick; scarce, dry and flavorless. before even ordering the wings i asked for the mobbed appetizer; chicken pieces, mozzerella sticks, cheese balls and onion slivers all fried. the cheese balls were delicious but the rest were just an over-fried mess. when we ordered i DID make the mistake of ordering the seasoned wings instead of a sauce - i figured it would be a lowry's-type seasoning - what i got were wings douced in herbs. but i ate them. as well as everything else on the table - hunger takes over, you know?!?! the displeasure didnt hit me until the car ride home. and the next three hours. the server was cool, she was a bit over bubbly, but i think it was just her personality. atmosphere - 4 (mob theme) food - 1 (bummer) service - 3.5

I am a true wing lover, having eaten more wings in my lifetime than the total number of recommended servings of fruits and vegetables the FDA says I should have eaten by now as a 34 year old. I like my wings the way they are supposed to be- spicy hot. I have tried the extra hot and the suicides. Both are neither here nor there. Extra Hots should be renamed hot. Suicides are hot, but the flavor is nothing great. They are plenty peppery, but lack that certain tangy goodness to go along with the plain old heat. The chicken wings themselves are on the smallish side, but are cooked right with a good crispyness. I actually like the three mile islands at hooters across the street better. The service here at Alondra's is actually a highlight. The staff is good and friendly. That kind of tips me back toward preferring Alondra overall better than Hooters. They have a full menu that looks pretty good too.

Well the server warned me their "suicide" signature sauce is very hot. Anyway I still went ahead and had an order of Buffalo chicken strips tossed on their suicide sauce. Holy smokes, she wasn't kidding! I like my food very spicy but I ended up having to blow my nose after eating a few pieces. Believe it or not there's even a hotter sauce called the "atomic". I know better next time. Portions are generous. You will be hard pressed not to find something on their extensive menu which includes soup and salads, hot wings, deli sandwiches, hot grilled sandwiches and pizza. Alondra serves mainly American beers but they have Newcastle if you prefer English ales like myself. The vibe was fairly low key on a Friday evening we were there. Good for families but not exactly the party scene like the other hot wings place down the street. The server could've been more attentive. There are large pictures of mobsters & their bios hanging on the walls. It makes for interesting conversation (some of the mugs are scary looking) but calling the decor here a mobster hideout would really be stretching it.

My G/F is a wing FREAK! She will let you know if they're good or not. For her, Alondra's is the best. All of their food is great. I've had a couple of their signature burgers and their Philly, all of which were perfect. The staff has always been great and have a good sense of humor. DON'T come to Long Beach and miss out on this place.

First, I would like to start with a positive. The waitress we had was very nice and accommodating but besides that this place is awful. Myself and some coworkers went their for our hour lunch. Four people ordered sandwiches, two people ordered wings, and one person ordered a burger. The wings came out really fast and were very hot (both good things). The two people were finished eating the plate of wings before any other food came out. Then finally, two sandwiches and the burger came out. By the time the last two sandwiches came out, everyone else was finished eating their food. Oh and the sandwiches weren't even hot! And supposedly they came to us right after getting out of the fryer. The two sandwiches were the buffalo chicken sandwiches. In the mean time while the two people were waiting for their sandwiches other tables who came in after us were getting their food. The manager came over when we received our check and began by making excuses. She stated that sandwiches take a long time to make (yet two other people ordered sandwiches and didn't have to wait nearly as long) and you're telling me a sandwich takes longer than a burger! She apologized a few times and comped one of the buffalo sandwiches because one of the people did not eat the second half due to its temperature and it not tasting very good. The table did also get 10% of their meals which was nice but I will NEVER go here again. Extremely slow service, our hour lunch turned into 1.5 hours due to this slow service and we all ate super fast once we finally did get our food. The food is definitely not worth the wait. The slow service isn't due to the waitresses or waiters it's definitely the kitchen. If you do decide to go here, only get the chicken wings, they come out hot and quick. Further, we ordered nachos to go and when we got them the cheese was not even melted! It was just a bunch of cold shredded cheese on top of chips.

Last night was our second time here...disappointed. Can't believe we forgot that the wings here taste frozen and refried! Ew! And...they're puny! Barely any meat! And the honey BBQ and the spicy BBQ barely taste any different. In fact, I think they gave us two of the same sauce. Service was ok...but can't believe they allowed some diner to smoke on the outdoor patio. Isn't there a law that says you can't smoke within 25 feet of a restaurant or building? Anyway, next time...we'll remember not to go.

I know it says Alondra Hot Wings, but I really liked the pizza here. It was thin crust with just the right amount of gooey cheese and toppings on it. We ordered a large order of wings too, I had one. lol. It was good, I just don't care for bones in my chicken, kinda freaks me out. Alondra's is in a prime location in LB, plenty of bars and restaurants around. What really made it was the waitress, she was so nice and sweet, I don't know her name but shout out to the nice young lady that took care of our table. I'd definitly come here again.

Let me start by saying, I love the wings... Too bad the service is terrible! I had the worst experience EVER! The server was rude! Then the manager says to my sister and I "you guys are always a problem" I was so shocked I didn't know what to say! My sister responded with "Um who is you guys this is my second time here" I could not believe a manger was talking to us this way! I tried talking to her and explaining that I was not trying to be rude or cause a problem but she insisted that I had been there many times and always caused a problem. Wow! This is a manager talking! I was so disappointed and haven't been back since... Alondra let me know when you get it together and fire those rude employees and get a new manager! Brie you know who are! You really need to improve your customer service skills!

Wings were very good, the service was ok, waitress didn't really know what she was doing, I think she probably was new so I can't fault her. I only waited a short time for my food. The wings were excellent. The cole slaw was bland and terrible, the salad was good. Very lame they don't have celery and only carrots.... It is a wings place, so I mainly came there for wings and they delivered. I like the wings and would get them again. Nicely crisp and overall appeasing to the pallet.

The food was amazing got the lime chilli like always and went with some great friends. The service is amazing and everyone is polite. Our waitress Kim was the best, she took care of us and was very polite and made us feel comfortable while we waited for our food. And she is also cute. So if you decide to go make sure Kim is your server.

Let's start off by saying that I only gave this place four stars cause of customer service. Other than having an awesome waitress, the food was horrible! I had the lemon pepper/teriyaki wings along with french fries/onion rings. The plate was given to me completely cold and incredibly salty! So the food alone gets a one star, if that... I paid nearly $16.00 for a plate I never even ate, just gave away. Bummer... However, my waitress was one of the nicest people that I have ever had waiting on me. Because of her awesome customer service, this place gets four stars. Shame I never remembered her name.

Bought a Groupon for this place. As I'm walking to the front door, I read a sign that says their OUT OF WINGS. Riddle me this; how does a place that considers themselves a wing place run out of wings. I was confused and annoyed already. I wanted to go back home but I drove 25 minutes. So I ordered the classic burger, chicken Caesar sandwich, and the Big Apple burger. The classic burger was for my brother and I don't think he liked it. He finished it though cause he's a trooper. My other brother enjoyed his chicken Caesar sandwich so that was the only highlight. I ate the Big Apple and it was only ok. The burger claimed to have mayo and thousand island on it but I didn't taste it at all. I also ordered a side of BBQ sauce which I was charged for but never received. The burger was bland . I had to add ketchup which didn't really help. My burger just had a bunch of stuff in it that didn't blend well. Waste of calories. I won't come out of my way to this place again. Note to mgmt: Try not to run out of wings, when the word wings is in your name.
